Intelligence > Looks - Period. I don't care how hot you think you are, if your brain is in sizable comparison to a peanut, we're not going to get along. If u tak/typ lik dis cuz u cant take a xtra sec 2 use propr speling or grammr, or you don't know what a 'greater than' symbol looks like, more than likely, we will not work out. I expect to be able to connect and communicate with you at a certain intellectual level. Furthermore, if you make your way through this world relying only on a pretty face, and have a complete lack of ambition and drive toward succeeding in something productive and important to you, I'm not necessarily going to think you're unintelligent, simply lost. I'm only interested in meeting generally happy, realistic, reasonable people who think somewhat like me, and are taking their lives in the direction of their passion. If YOU are just looking to hook up, I'm legitimately not interested. Now, if you have made it to this point and haven't clicked away, I'd be glad to tell you what I'm looking for.

I'm up for exclusive dating if we happen to really click right from the start, but I'm just looking for someone to get to know a little better, who is willing to get to know all of me. I'd like to meet a woman who's not afraid to hold out for a guy she really doesn't have to compromise for. And I don't mean the little things. I'm talking about deal-breakers. We all have a list of them (whether we admit it or not), but I know, and see, way too many people who don't stick to them because they're afraid to be without "the good thing" they currently have. I don't want to live my life constantly putting up with things that I don't agree with or that annoy the hell out of me, just to ensure I have someone to go to bed with each night. And I wouldn't want the girl I'm with to have to live that way either. So if you agree with that, please, do keep reading.
It would be awesome if you appreciate, and are often intrigued and amazed by, the random little things in life, whether it be a gesture, event, an idea, or physical object. Everything, no matter how simple, plain, or insignificant it may seem at first glance, can be broken down to a much more complex level. While sharing this view of the world with you is not absolutely necessary, it would be a huge plus. (a little odd? perhaps. oh well) Hopefully, you keep a very open mind, have a sense of humor similar to mine, and hate driving in a straight line. . . I just couldn't resist the rhyme, haha. If you're pretty much honest to a fault, I understand. I am too. If you care too deeply for the things important to you, but not deeply enough for practically everything else, we're alike there as well. I also hope you don't believe chivalry is dead because, like it or not, I Will always open the door for you. Unless my hands are full. . . but even then I'll still try ;)
In general, do you try to go with the flow? Are you able to brush off 'bad luck' easily and not dwell on the negative? And are you Actually ok with getting to know each other well, before deciding to see each other exclusively? If so, let's talk!
A nice date might include dinner, made together, and a movie. Or perhaps just a long walk where we can share endless random stories. I'm also a big fan of the stars, when they're visible, so just sitting and talking while gazing upon them is always ok with me. Or maybe all of that put together! You tell me.

Now a little more about just me. So I might seem a little shy the first time you meet me, but once I get to know someone, I'm still quiet, but more open. I'd just say I'm a better listener than talker. Though, if you gain my trust and make it into a very select group that is currently only two, you will know me as well as I know myself. A personality test told me I'm an INTp personality type. Though, after reading descriptions of other types, I've found I'm just as much an INFj and ISTj, and the googlable definitions of all three of those (on describe me better than I probabaly ever could myself. Don't get me wrong, I have my loud, wild, and fun times, but generally I am very easy going and easy to please. Work, food, and company are really all I Need. And a car, haha. I'd like to think of myself as clever and witty, and I can also be a little sarcastic sometimes. I would consider myself to be better than most when it comes to making people laugh. When I was younger, I was often told I should be a comedian. Sadly, I didn't care too much for being on stage. But I am always trying to make others happy, it makes me happy. And I really believe people should treat others the way they would like to be treated. I think of my friends as family and would literally do anything for them. Among many other things, I enjoy driving, longboarding, playing soccer, disc golf, regular golf, driving, photography, playing poker, rock climbing, camping, and driving. Can you tell I like to drive? haha. Movies are also a pretty big thing for me. I like to watch them for entertainment just like anyone else, sure, but I really appreciate, and enjoy finding, the little technicalities that make a great movie, well, great. The Matrix is, hands down, my favorite movie of all time. Some of my other favorites include; the Lord of the Rings trilogy (as the single 11.5 hour film I consider it to be, is probably, for many reasons, the best all around movie ever made, so far), KickAss, I Love You Man, and Life of Pi. Really though, there are quite a few more that I'd still consider 'favorites'. I also love to cook, especially on the grill, though I know my way around a kitchen too. In general, I am always very observant of my surroundings, but people watching in particular is definitely intriguing. I am constantly interested in what other people around me have going on and I like trying to deduce as much as I can from what others may deem insignificant actions or expressions. For some reason I feel their life must be more interesting than my own, but maybe that will soon be changed. I became EMT-Basic certified in June 2012, and went right into a paramedic program which I completed in November, 2013. Unfortunately I decided that's not what I want to do long term. Maybe it could someday bridge into becoming a physician's assistant or RN, though I think I'd rather go the wildland medic/search and rescue route (somewhere in the mountains preferably). For now though, I'm pursuing a couple other interests. Feel free to ask about them. I enjoy being outside and staying active, but only for a couple hours (negotiable) in the summer, haha. I have lived in the valley my whole life and I've never quite gotten used to the ridiculous summer heat. Regardless, I enjoy all kinds of sports, but prefer to actually play them rather than watch someone else on the tv, as I tend to be somewhat competitive. Even if you wanted to know anything else, I wouldn't expect you to ask, initially. Perhaps we will talk soon.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I really haven't read too many books for pleasure, which makes it tough to be able to even have a favorite.

Movies:The Matrix, LOTR trilogy (extended edition), I Love You Man, the Bourne series, Casa de mi Padre, Constantine, Dark City, Dark Knight trilogy, Disney/Pixar, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Green Mile, Harry Potter, Hot Fuzz, Hotrod, How to Train Your Dragon, Iron Man, Kick Ass, Kung Pow, Megamind, Memento, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Odd Thomas, Pineapple Express, The Princess Bride, Prometheus, Remember the Titans, Requiem for a Dream, Safety Not Guaranteed, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Shaun of the Dead, Silver Linings Playbook, Space Balls, Step Brothers, This is 40, Totally Awesome, Tropic Thunder, Wanted, Watchmen, Youth in Revolt, Zombieland, Zoolander, 500 Days of Summer, and still so many more that don't quite come to mind.

TV: My favorite show is definitely How I Met Your Mother. I also like Dexter, Weeds, Workaholics, Raising Hope, Misfits, Heroes, Arrow, Wilfred,Top Gear (BBC only), Psych, Ancient Aliens, It's Always Sunny, Big Bang Theory, Frozen Planet, Planet Earth, That 70's Show, House, a lot of things on Food Network, though I find myself watching Diners Drive-ins and Dives more often than other food shows.

Music: I'll listen to almost anything, really. If I had to name a few Chris Webby would be at the top of the list. I also listen to; 3OH!3, BarCode Scandal, Classified, Eminem, The Faint, The Format, Fun, George Watsky, Hyper Crush, Jimmy Eat World, Ludacris, M80, Mac Miller, Plain White T's, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Secondhand Serenade, Smokescreen, Weird Al, and Yellowcard, among others. 98.7 the peak is a good radio station, though I rarely listen to the radio. And in the car I still go hard to some techno from my high school days every once in a while.

Food: *I recently decided to go vegetarian, so all of the following may no longer apply.
A good steak would probably take the number one spot, but I've never had one I was really pleased with from a restaurant. All of my perfect steaks were made by me. But next to that is sushi. I feel like I can always eat more sushi than I can afford. lol. Sriracha is the best sauce of all time. I could put it on almost everything I eat on a regular basis. Buffalo wings also deserve to be listed here. I guess I could also put in here that I am kind of addicted to starbucks passion tea (no water, no sweetener). Since I might have 64-96oz of it per day, I sometimes use it as the justification for why I drink very little additional water. Plus, it completely kicked my equally voluminous need for Pepsi, which is a pretty good thing. *update: I no longer work where it was super convenient to get my starbucks tea refills, so my passion tea is now a rare treat vs. a daily thing.
I also thoroughly enjoy beer. I don't drink very often, but I will always spend a little more on something that actually has flavor. Guinness, Pinstripe, Magic Hat, and a good Blue Moon are my notable favorites.
The six things I could never do without

probably watching a movie, catching up on a tv series, or maybe even studying like I know I should be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Everything I've said about myself is true, though it's much less than half of who I really am. The person described above is me, but a part of me that has become more of a mask that I wear daily to fit in and get by. Much more goes on inside my mind than that which I present to the world. I have a very different view of the world than most (our society is so utterly messed up. it boggles my mind how nobody cares to see it) and it’s made it difficult for me to relate to anyone as completely as I’d like. I really think this applies to pretty much everyone. We all have things on our mind that we're reluctant to share. Maybe I'm wrong. Apparent or not, there is far more to talk about on this subject than I am willing to type, but if this section sounds anything like you, I’d love to talk.

On a lighter note, I'll admit that I seriously go all out when singing along to songs in the car (which I do every single time I drive). God forbid I need my voice after any trip longer than 150 miles.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
First, if you actually read this entire profile because it was meant to weed out everyone but you.
If you really didn't think my summary was too ridiculously long. haha. Because I still feel that I left out so much.
Or, if I message you, because it means I actually read your profile and I think we'd get along. And I'm not on here just messaging everyone who's profile crosses the screen.
And if I haven't found you yet and you see that we have similar qualities and interests.
