I am warm, witty, and balanced.

My Self-Summary

I am here on the off chance the world of internet dating still presents an opportunity for something lasting. I've been in New York just over 2 years, I love it, and while I am finally feeling settled I'm definitely open to the nonstop new ways to enjoy life, new friends, and ways to change it up in general.

I love dancing as long is the music is hot (hip hop usually), but as I work my ass off I'm happy to veg out or read or enjoy a nice meal out with good conversation. Speaking of, I'm comfortable discussing everything from Paris Hilton's latest ridiculousness to the flaws in Obama's bailout plan to why Slumdog Millionaire had to sell out just a little bit to win a Oscar. Yet I'm not afraid to admit when I know nothing about something (sports, for example).

I turned 25 in March and had an amazing dinner party surrounded by my 15 favorite people (and the cutest puggle) in NYC. I want someone on my arm next year to share that with. The clock is ticking, but no pressure - that someone should be great and great for me.

What I’m doing with my life

I am working ridiculous hours (trying to keep that under control) in real estate finance, special servicing to be specific. I think I'd probably have to wait until the second date to fully explain that, but I swear it is not sexual.

I may switch it up at some point, but I have to figure out what that would exactly be. I might make it my business to bridge business and the arts. Producer? Ari Gold? I just produced my first show in NYC! Good times.

I’m really good at

social. I have to admit I'm pretty great in most social settings. I will charm your friends without seeming saccharine, I love meeting new people, and I can keep up with the conversation.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm a Jew. I scream Tribe...and in a good way. And my smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: My book club keeps producing non-stop hits. Recently I've loved Prep (my choice), Hotel de Dream, and The Great Man. I also adore The Secret History and The Cheese Monkeys.

Movies: all time favorites include Clueless, Titus, The Love Bug and Parenthood. I'm learning to expand my taste and knowledge of movies rapidly though.

Music: I default to mainstream hip hop and pop when I want to dance, and keep myself pumped about life on the subway. I also love reggaeton, classical, and am learning more and more about other genres of music. Better music taste than me is definitely a bonus in a bf, but don't expect me to give up what I like anytime soon.

Food: Where do I start. Thai, forever and always, will be my favorite cuisine.

The six things I could never do without

Things excludes people, so:

1. iPhone
2. ZipCar card (unless one day I get a car which would be ridic in the city)
3. my passport
4. great jeans
5. good red wine
6. my music collection

I spend a lot of time thinking about

traveling. My shower curtain is a world map. I'm a geography dork. And I've been a lot of places and am always thinking about where I want to go next.

My future. What do I want and how do I make it happen.

On a typical Friday night I am

debating what to do. Go out dancing/drinking with friends even though I'm exhausted? Coerce friends to stay in with me and watch a movie and chill out and wait for Saturday night to go big or go home?

That sounds lame looking at it. I definitely need to step it up.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I haven't been in a serious relationship in years. And I'm over it.

You should message me if

you like what you've read so far, you're open-minded, you're a good listener AND a good storyteller, and you have a realistic yet optimistic approach to this world of online dating.
