Having lived in three countries with strong influences from several cultures, I'm of a diverse background. Growing up in the Caribbean afforded me the warmheartedness and easy going outlook synonymous with Caribbean people, but with overtones of my Asian heritage. Yet, I have lived in North America long enough to appreciate and adopt many of its cultural influences.
I think relationships grow from genuinely liking people; a serious relationship takes an enormous amount of work and strong commitment, therefore friendship is essential to its growth and survival.
When I am not working, my first priority is time with my children.
Not a person of high maintenance, I do however, appreciate being treated like a lady. No, that does not mean gifts of flowers etc. but little things such as holding the door open and curtailing the use of foul language.
I enjoy spending time with that special someone in my life - whether it's intimate fine and simple dining (yes, that means pizza), traveling, being open to new experiences, discovering unfamiliar places (even if it’s local), intimate walks on those unexpected warm evenings, visiting museums or spending time with friends.
