I'd like to meet someone who is grounded and happy with their life. I prefer someone who has been in a long term relationship before and not a serial dater. I don't hang out at night clubs or bars, I'm more family oriented. I can go anywhere though, whether it's a concert, theatre, or just walking together somewhere. I'm open to whatever you'd like to do or places you'd like to go as well as things I'd like to do. Friends and family are important to me. That includes your friends and family also! I have many different types of interests, but I'd rather tell you in person as we get to know each other. I would like to meet someone who wants a best friend as well as a relationship. I write, produce and Direct. I love the creative freedom it gives me. I used to be in the military and was also a police officer for several years. I'm also looking for my better half. To enjoy each others company and friendship. To go places and enjoy activities together, or just at home enjoying each other in conversation. I try to be positive in every situation. It keeps you young at heart when you're enthusiastic about life, and you only live once.

Being a good friend. I'm very loyal and believe in honesty in any relationship. I think a lot of guys can be 'dogs' and I'm not that kind of guy. It makes us good guys look bad too.

I love sci-fi books, self help, biographies, history, and of course comedy. But I don't limit myself. Whatever that I find interesting at the time and gets my interest, I'll read. Movies, I like all types of movies but my favorite types are sci-fi, comedy and horror, but you don't have to watch the scary ones with me. Unless you want to cuddle! When it comes to food. I'm really not picky, I'll try anything once, but sushi. That's my one exception.

Comedy! I write, produce and direct comedy for my profession so I tend to think of new ideas a lot of the time or am still working on finishing older projects that are " a work in progress". Other times, I think of how nice it would be to find that special someone to have in my life. I have many interests, too many to mention here.

Depends. I sometimes go out to dinner, movies, concerts, etc. While other times I'll just stay in and watch a movie, read or talk to friends/family. I'd much rather be spending it with you though, no matter where we are!

I'm sometimes shy at first, but am really not at all once I know someone.
I used to rescue stray kittens and their mother and have them spayed and neutered. Then I'd find them good homes.
