Colorado native moved to New Orleans for Teach for America in 2004. Loved teaching 7th grade Life Science. Unexpectedly switched career paths and now I'm in med school.

Like the outdoors, a bit of an athlete, a bit wild. I like intelligent, open-minded, globally-oriented folk- especially those who tell dirty jokes. I study lots, am very independent but also am a sweet-heart, sometimes to my detriment.

Been to Brazil, south China, Italy, England, Paris for 24 hours, Costa Rica, Mexico. But, still have never been to Boston, Austin, Maine or the Pacific Northwest (among many other places- not even touching my international wish list)! So much to see!

Working on med school. Nearing the end of year 2. Rotations start in July. No specialty figured out and I'm obsessed with thinking about what would be the right fit.
