hey there. i'm just your average, easy-going girl next door. My personality depends on your personality. Moved home about a year ago to help my single mom raise my twin brothers after getting my Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego. I miss San Diego weather and San Diego atmosphere. Hopefully I'll be able to move back there after my brothers graduate high school. I'm looking for a nice big teddy-bear type to cuddle on the beach with. 6' or over, preferably. I'm not a huge fan of clubs and bars, crowds aren't my thing. I don't like games, I won't hurt your feelings on purpose, but at the same time, i won't change my beliefs to suit you. I'm a huge classic car fan, and I listen to just about any kind of music out there. Don't let my age fool you. I've been told I'm "wise beyond my years" looking forward to hearing from you. just got a permanent (though probationary) position as a guidance assistant at a local middle school. i spend a lot of time working with my brothers on school stuff (and lots of downtime trying to learn how to play all the video games they do...)

listening to people and making them feel better when they're down...

books: anything with an actual story-line (i'm no good with non-fiction)i recently acquired an amazon kindle and have re-"kindled" my love for reading. my current favorite author is laurie notaro

movies: comedies and horror (some action if there's no mushy love story aspect to it)

music: just about anything (except hardcore death metal and songs with no lyrics)

food: mexican and beer always make for a happy day

my mom, my brothers, my bed, my punkin', my kindle, my sidekick (sad.... i know)

where our educational system is headed and how it's causing us (educators) to bring up a generation of illiterate and apathetic children

grateful i don't have to go to work the next day and feeling like a goober for looking forward to sleep :-P
