My self-summary
Fall in love with falling in love. Fall in love fully. Fall in love and let go. Let it consume you as if your heart was drunk on too much wine, dancing aimlessly in the night and disconnected from your head. Fall in love with the beautiful and the ugly, with the dead and the decaying and with every day that passes fall in love more than you did the day before. Fall in love with the face of the girl with the pale skin and red hair with the flailing cigarette and the bag packed with her everything on the train to everywhere. Fall in love with the tragic siren of the ambulance. Drink whiskey and fall in love. Fall in love with your empty wallet. Fall in love with the dole adviser sporting a God complex. Fall in love with the summer of drugs and Sartre. Fall in love with the calming smile of the girl sitting cross legged on the sofa in a coffee shop. Fall in love with the wasted lives of the million rushed faces like a hurricane fleeing to sit in a miserable office with only the boring thump of their heart marking them out as different from the dead, so fall in love with their heart. Fall in love with the crazy ones who say ‘fuck it all’ and live according to their rules, and die satisfied that life was theirs, dancing ’till they drop in the rain. Fall in love with letting go and everyone is as lost as you, and no one has a fucking clue what’s going on and it’s okay. Fall in love with memories and ex-lovers. Fall in love with her. Always her. Fall in love with writing and painting and taking photos about every detail that you’d miss if it were taken away. Fall in love with the broken dreams of the romantics. Fall in love with winter on a council estate as if it were the centre of Paris in spring. Fall in love with the bar tender forced to call you “sir” in exchange for minimum wage and nights with cheap pasta and punching walls. Fall in love with smoking a joint on a trampoline in the sun with good company and memories that matter. Fall in love and blow smoke in the wretched face of the man in the suit. Fall in love and hold hands and consume every second of the time you spend reading a book under a tree with her. Fall in love with the charming and the charmless, with the barking dogs and pensive butterfly settled in the wind. Fall in love with political scandals and one time lovers fucking in a field at night. Fall in love with the lowlifes and the bar crawlers with the stories to write. Fall in love with the forgotten faces of the retirement home; they have more life in them than all of us. Fall in love with the threatening kid escaping life and drinking cheap beer at 10am. Fall in love with the broken shower and cracks in the walls and easy to pick lock on the rotting door. Fall in love with the serene sound of the fountain in the Town Hall square as the droplets rainbow and the girl on her lunch break dreaming as she surveys the ceaseless sky and always completely fall in love with falling in love because it’s all such a fucking beautiful game.
What I’m doing with my life
Attempting to be a writer and/or Photographer. But mainly a writer. Pay me to write. Thanks.

Hopefully starting training to be a teacher by the end of the year.

I've fleeted between jobs for as long as I can remember, I've also had no job, had part time jobs, sat in the soul destroying atmosphere of the Job Centre as they subtly tell you how worthless you are. I've also lived for a while in Australia and a couple of months in the US. I have a degree in Politics & Journalism, I'm currently a photographer - I've been published in a US college textbook and a Malaysian interior design magazine - I also restore old damaged family photos and colourise them, I built my own sort of photobooth for events, and I write on philosophy, politics and mainly religion (I'm not a big fan of God) here: http://futiledemocracy.wordpress.com. I also write freelance for a couple of other companies. I've been promoted by The National Secular Society, whom I will be speaking for in Nottingham in October on Thomas Jefferson, and two of my articles have been published on Malaysian news network "The Malaysian Insider", here:

I also write a little more poetically here: http://thelightflickers.wordpress.com/

Oh, and I currently live with the dad. We both have new businesses and so we save money this way. It's also allowed me the freedom to travel. I'm pretty happy too, so If this bothers you, that's fine, and happy dating.

If any of this appeals.... message me!
I’m really good at
I'm not great at anything in particular. But I can hold a decent conversation, take a worthwhile picture, and occasionally produce written works that I'm quite proud of. I think. I may be deluding myself on all of those points. Let's talk about how amazing the Hubble Deep Field image is, why there is no God, and drink whiskey. I'm good at that.

I write here: http://futiledemocracy.wordpress.com

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend an awful lot of time thinking on religion. Its history, development, and its clash with individual liberty. The arguments put forward for the existence of a God and the curious presumption of privilege those with faith seem to assign to themselves in certain countries, and their excuses for that.

And words.

And how extraordinarily difficult I find it to change duvet covers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have never seen a Harry Potter film, nor read a Harry Potter book.
And I really dislike Lord of the Rings.
