I am smart, thoughtful, and funny.

My Self-Summary

I work for the State of California, as most people in Sacramento, and am always looking for new career opportunities.

I live in Midtown and try to walk or ride my beach cruiser as much as possible. I live about 25 blocks from work so you can often see me riding around town.

I don't know what else, and you know what??? That's for you to find out! Ask me questions, because I have answers....

What I’m doing with my life

I just finished my AA degree and am now currently waiting to go finish my B.S in Communications at Sac State; in the meantime (because CSU's just announced that they are not accepting new students until Fall 2010) I will be going to school at Sac City to get another associates degree in Graphic Design. My main objective in my life right now is to finish my degree.

If I could do anything it would be to create and direct music videos. I have a strong urge to constantly be creative. I use to do graphic design for a company, but have taken a year off from doing that and I am looking to get back into the game.

More than anything, I'm looking for pure happiness in my life. At this point, I think I've become as happy as I could be as a single guy and want to find a partner to share it with.

I’m really good at

Playing the Devil's Advocate, and it may annoy some, but I truly believe that there are two sides to every story. It is hard for me to imagine that people inherently want to do wrong, so I think everyone's opinions should be listened to, heard and processed.

Oh yeah, I make a mean batch of Waffles... ;-)

The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my witty and/or sarcastic demeanor. I take most of life with a grain of salt. There is nothing too important in life that justifies being to serious about something. I can take a joke just as well as I can make a joke.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I have a incredible passion (some might say obsession) with music. Music has the ability to change our mood, help us think clearly and/or get us through good and bad times. And there's a perfect song out there for everyone to accomplish each of those tasks and more.

If you want me to talk for a long time, ask me what my favorite kind of music is, or what I'm listening to at the moment...

Some favorite bands are: The Beatles - The Get Up Kids - The Jealous Sound - Mew - eightfourseven - Chump - Will Haven - Poetix - The Abominable Iron Sloth - Red Tape - Death Valley High - Far - My Merry Malady - Deftones - Tinfed - Engine Down - Barkmarket - Less Than Jake - Beastie Boys - The Revolution Smile - Placebo - The (International) Noise Conspiracy - Jawbox - Silverchair - Failure - The Who - Fugazi - Thursday - The Clash - A Tribe Called Quest - Onelinedrawing - Peter Gabriel - theSTART - At The Drive-In - Recover - Refused - Thrice - Pharcyde - Bad Religion and so much more...

As for books, I am a huge Nick Hornby fan as well as James Frey (Yes! I know his books are a sham, but they are just so well written)

Movies: I love the typical comedies (i.e. So I Married An Axe Murderer, Shaun of the Dead, Billy Madison), also love Fight Club, and whenever I'm feeling down, Garden State always makes me feel better.

The six things I could never do without

01) Family and friends to lean on -- You can never do it alone!
02) Creativity
03) Drive and Ambition
04) Laughter
05) Getaway Weekends
06) My iPhone -- it's a leash :-(

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How extremely lucky I am that life has given me the opportunities that most people in the world live without. When I hear stories of people who have tragic event in their life or have been struggling, I feel bad. For whatever reason, I have been blessed to not have tragedy or real times of struggle in my life. I am always questioning, Why me?

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually hanging out with friends and one of our homes or wandering the streets of Midtown. Actually, I can guarantee that we are out eating somewhere...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Honestly I'm really an open book, so I don't know...

You should message me if

You want an amazing conversation. ;-)
