My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a mad engineer with a passion for storytelling and debate. I've built death carts, taught pole dancing, and currently spend at least one day a week exploring rarely seen bits of the bay area.

My creative projects have included choreographing a massive sword and staff fire dance inspired by the Maori Haka with influences from around Indonesia and East Asia (see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6uHLf2RKMg ) and building a human sized hamster wheel powered carriage (needs a little work but is functional, see here: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2485/3911774516_48571a6f1f_b.jpg ).

I'm polyamorous with a wonderful local partner. I'm certainly available, but not single.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as a QA Automation Engineer and spending my spare time finding wacky hijinks to get into. Those adventures often include things like iron chef style cooking competitions, sea shanty sing-alongs, and planning secret adventures for friends.

Lately I've been doing yoga, dancing, and martial arts every week. There's so many awesome things to do in this area!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Schematics, making things go, breaking things (and rebuilding them), and puns.

Cooking fairly simple food but making it just that little bit fancier, or just needlessly complicated. Making hot chocolate and being a good person to talk to.

I also used to work as a camp counselor, teaching kids sock puppet musical theater and stilt walking. I'm still half decent at dancing with fire.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I often get random "Looking classy!" or "Good morning, Rabbi" from strangers. Evidently I have a distinctive way of dressing. Also, my hair's pretty long, so that comes up.

*Note: I am not actually a Rabbi. Evidently sometimes I look like one.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I never like questions like this. I'm too much of an engineer at heart to answer anything other than things I truly can't do without: Stimulus, Oxygen, Food, Water, Heat, and Shelter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Political Theory, Probability Analysis (yes, I can be geeky enough to do that when bored), Relationships, Daydream Stories, Fire Choreography, Structure Design, Art Constructions, Being a Superhero (hey, don't knock my dreams), Strange and Wonderful Contraptions. I've built up a long term zombie defense plan in my spare time, and really like planning out buildings and temporary structures. Lately I've been devising automation tools.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately, gaming and feasting with friends, as we now do a regular pot luck gaming session that day. Other regular social activities for me are going out dancing on Mondays and practicing yoga and martial arts on Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on schedule. Sunday is a pot luck Game of Thrones feast with a different (but overlapping) group of friends. Even when I'm just home for the night I tend to like to cook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm partially colorblind... does that count?

Do not message me if: Your goal with me is a monogamous romantic relationship. I am very happily polyamorous and will be more than happy to explain how that works for me if you like. I'm not going to help anybody cheat, nor am I a fan of secrecy when it comes to my love life, so please take that into consideration.
