I am passionate, odd, and oftentimes intense.

My Self-Summary

Okay, so it's late and I'm tired, so this will be rambling and chaotic but here goes: I'm an actor and a singer who is currently working as a restaurant host to make ends meet (lucky me). I'm also a writer though recently that's had to take a back burner to a lot of other things I like to learn. Just ask me what you wanna know, I usually answer. I'm pretty open about things (though I won't say I'm an "open book" because I don't think anyone really is and those who say that they are tend to want to prove something to someone else and are hiding something deep down.) For fun I watch movies and TV, and I try to do some reading as much as I can. I like to hang out with my friends, go out or spend a quiet night in. I'll fill in more random facts later, I'm sure.

That astrological sign thing to the right doesn't really give the option of what I think about it. It's either between "fun to think about" or "it matters a lot" and neither of those accurately expresses my feelings on the subject. Now, it doesn't matter a LOT to me, but it is something that I take into consideration when I'm with someone. Very few people I've met have not matched at least a few qualities of their astrological sign, so I take that into consideration when dealing with people, as well as every other aspect of their personality.

And, ps. I'm a huge fan of gay marriage. I would like it to be legal everywhere, and I love the Brits even more (like that was possible!) now that they've legalized it. This should give you an indication of one of my goals in life. ;-)

A friend recently described me in a way I thought was very accurate: "you seem to have that perfect balance of romanticism, idealism, and realism
that makes you mature, but fun, trustworthy, but decidedly innocent..... and completely misunderstood by 99% of the general population"

What I’m doing with my life

Working and figuring life out.

Sidenote: I am looking for love. Honest to goodness LOVE. Don't care what kind it is--friendship, familial, the love of a goooood hot chocolate, romantic, passionate, what have you. Not faux love where all you do is hurt someone but create an emotional dependency on how they make you feel so you don't know what else to call it but "love". That's not what I want. I've experienced it, and now I'm done experiencing that. Done it several times, can't say it was altogether horrible, but I'm looking for something else now. I have known my entire life that I am here to experience is love in all its forms and to love as much as I can. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I experience love very deeply. So now that we got the really intense stuff out of the way, let's move on to lighter things. :-D

I’m really good at

All kinds of stuff. Why don't you find out? ;-)

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. Usually I'm not other people. But I'd guess my teeth/smile. Maybe my hair?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(b)Moulin Rouge, Seven, The Object of My Affection, Death Becomes Her, Clue, Noises Off, Spanglish, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Kevin Smith films, Big Fish, so many more that I just can't think of right now. Just fyi--I LOATHE Napoleon Dynamite. It was the biggest waste of an hour and forty minutes ever! And, yes, it was a bigger waste than Unbreakable. At least in Unbreakable there was some nice camerawork to distract from the horridness that was that movie. (I did like Sixth Sense, Signs, and The Village, though.) (c)To name but a small sample--Alanis Morissette, Tori Amos, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Travis, Jamie Cullum, Robbie Williams, The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer, Kate Nash, Jason Mraz, Lauren Kennedy, Scissor Sisters, Broadway--Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Flaherty, etc., and again, so many more.

The six things I could never do without

Love, air, music, smiles (it really does brighten up your day), the duality of the world/universe, and...um...peanut butter!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Somebody hold me too close. Somebody hurt me too deep. Somebody sit in my chair and ruin my sleep and make me aware of being alive. Being alive. Somebody need me too much. Somebody know me too well. Somebody pull me up short and put me through hell and give me support for being alive. Make me alive. Make me alive... Make me confused. Mock me with praise. Let me be used, Vary my days. But alone is alone, not alive. Somebody crowd me with love. Somebody force me to care. Somebody make me come through, I'll always be there as frightened as you, to help us survive being alive. Being alive. Being alive. ~~from Company, song by Stephen Sondheim

Do you realize? You have the most beautiful face.
Do you realize? We're floating in space.
Do you realize? That happiness makes you cry.
Do you realize? That everyone you know someday will die.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round.
--"Do You Realize?" by The Flaming Lips

On a typical Friday night I am

Up, out, working, lazing about, watching TV, roaming a bookstore, talking to friends, wandering around, wishing, thinking, writing, singing...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I think this box is so humorous, mostly because of how many people have put something like, "I won't tell you that!" or "You'll have to find out!" or some other variation. It says, right there, the most private thing you're "WILLING" to admit. If that only goes so far as for you to say, "I love chewing gum!" then so be it. Not asking for your dirtiest secrets, folks. It's a free dating site. ;-)

As for the most private thing I'm WILLING to admit HERE:
I sometimes get excited about things uncut. Movies, albums....other things.....not that it's important or anything, but it's always a nice bonus.

You should message me if

You're fun, willing to chat, you want to find out more, think we can be friends, are a nice person. I like nice people a lot and am always looking for more in my life. Assholes need not apply, and if you do, I'll be rather upset with you. ;-)
