My Self-Summary
I'm a naturally curious person that loves to learn about the world
around me. I'm normally down to try just about anything, at least
anything that doesn't involve strong likelihoods of me dying or
having to eat mushrooms. I tend to be easy going and take most
things in stride.
I have a lot of hobbies; right now I'm learning to play piano, I'm into photography. I like to go hiking, riding my bike, snowboarding, and I love to travel. I also shoot a mean game of pool.
I'm looking for someone kind of like myself, a bit nerdy/geeky, loves adventure and loves to get out and enjoy life. I'm not really concerned with having all the same hobbies (part of the fun of a relationship is learning about the other person's interests).

What I’m doing with my life
I'm thinking about changing careers and becoming a math teacher.
Right now I do web design and tech support, teaching would be less
money but would be a lot more rewarding.
I'm also trying to teach myself how to sew. I managed to make a cape for my Halloween costume and it was much easier than I thought it would be (though still pretty hard). I think it's both an interesting and practical hobby.
Also, right now I'm taking part in the National Novel Writing Month. I know I'm a little biased, but my novel is coming out AWESOME!

Food: Indian, Mexican, Ethiopian, in fact, I love most foods.
The only thing I really hate are mushrooms, gross.
Music: Operation Ivy, Nirvana, NoFX, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Modest Mouse, The Last Emperor, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, lots of others really, kind of hard to enumerate everything.
T.V.: Arrested Development (which was the best show ever, I even went as Tobias for Halloween last year), The Office, Myth Busters, House, Family Guy, CSI, Stargate (either one), and Star Trek (either TNG or DS9).
Movies: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore (well, anything by Wes Anderson really), Lars and the Real Girl, Buffalo '66, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Planet of the Apes (original one, not the one with Marky Mark), Logan's Run, Office Space, Moulin Rouge, The Big Tease, The Big Lebowski (look in my pics for a picture of me dressed as The Dude), Kingpin, Clash of the Titans.
Books: Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Youth in Revolt, The original Foundation Trilogy, and The Catcher in the Rye.
Also, just about anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, John Steinbeck (especially The Grapes of Wrath), and Ernest Hemingway.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

If you're moonlighting as one, I can make allowances only because I
know it's hard to get a job in this rotten economy. I just hope you
don't bring your work home with you...often. I know sometimes when
you're leaving work and there's rude comments thrown your direction
that you could possibly lose a moment of sanity and react. It's
alright, I'm a forgiving person.
