Hello!

I am a physics programmer at a game studio. This means I get to do a lot of fun experimental stuff; lots of research and prototyping. We are doing some crazy simulation never before seen in a real time game, and I can't wait until we get to announce the project publicly!

I like combining programming, math, and art. Check out the animations on the tesseract page on wikipedia... that was me!

I own a condo in Foothill Ranch, which is awesome except that it seems to be near an epicenter of religious activity. Please, stop knocking on my door at 8am on Saturday to try to convert me... it's too early. I debate better after having had the chance to make some coffee! I was hoping that by moving from Ohio to California I would have escaped most of that madness.

I do like to make time to stay active, and in addition to playing racquetball at least twice a week, I usually try to hit the gym for an hour or so after I get home from work.

Brain storming. Throw a challenging problem my way, and I'll throw three solutions back! Granted, its likely none of those first three solutions will actually work, but figuring out why they won't work is the fun part.

I am also quite approachable and tend to collaborate well with people from different disciplines.

I've been told my facial hair makes me look evil. I swear I'm not evil... just a bit devious :)

I enjoy listening to a wide variety of artists, depending on my mood. Muse, The Chemical Brothers, and Rage Against the Machine are a few random examples, though my tastes are eclectic enough to include anything from Chicane to some occasional Eminem or even a small dose of dubstep here or there.

Usually the Daily Show and Colbert Report serve as my primary source for news. Community makes me laugh, and Breaking Bad and Dexter are both great. Inception was probably the best movie released in the last few years. Death Note is the only good anime I've seen.

Since I make games, one might be inclined to guess that I play them too. Which I do, occasionally, though not as much as you might expect. I am a fan of Half Life and Portal, and am currently on and off playing through the new Tomb Raider.

...totally fried from a long work week, so probably crashing at home. More fun are Saturdays, when I might be out by the pool, catching a movie, or grilling up some steaks.

I've lost 50lbs in the last 6 months, and I'm not quite done yet.

You have an interest in meeting in person. I spend enough time in front of the computer at work, I'd prefer to be out and about during my free time!
