I'm looking for new people to go out with, for friendship and dating, as I explore new places in Columbus. I recently moved to the Short North area, after living in the suburbs most of my existence. I love it!

I'm super easygoing and can carry a conversation. My wry sense of humor has been called charming. I am gainfully employed. I have no major addictions, outside of maybe checking my phone a bit too often. I'm willing to be silly, especially to make others laugh. I'm about as cordial as they come.

Having awesome fun with my daughter. Working a job I pretty much like. Exercising and being active. Spending time with friends. Seeing as much of Columbus as possible. Watching classic movies and NBA basketball. Podcasting. Finding new ways to challenge myself. Writing sentence fragments.

Making plans. Finding something awesome at a thrift store. Using correct spelling and grammar. Dancing like a fool. Picking the right movie or song for the occasion. Using good manners. Sending introductory messages that are way too detailed.

Blue eyes. Or my cheerful disposition.

I used to read a lot, but since I've become a parent it's difficult to find the time, so I get through books very slowly. My favorite book is probably "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." I also like reading about historical figures and movements that shaped our world.

I love classic movies and listen to a wide array of music. I've been called a snob, a charge I don't always consider fair. Alfred Hitchcock changed my life, and the Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man" always makes me smile. I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I really enjoy "Mad Men," "Breaking Bad," and "Parks and Recreation" and have recently been rewatching "Arrested Development."

I like food. Favorite Columbus-ish restaurants include: Explorers Club, Arepazo, Moshi Sushi, Bon Vie, Dewey's, Northstar, Starliner Diner, and Taj Mahal.
