My self-summary Propose an edit

Well, what do I say here. I am a 40 year old man, who everyone thinks it around 30. (Yes, I take it as a compliment). I enjoy life, and have done many things and plan to do many more. I love to laugh, and do it often. I believe life is a journey, and it is much better when we have people to share it with. I have friends and family that I love dearly and am enjoying sharing my life with them. I am looking for someone special to share it with as well. I believe this life is an ongoing process...we are never really 'done'. I know God is still working on me, because I still fail often. But, I get up and get back on the path as quickly as I can. It's all about trying to move forward, and helping those around us do that as well.

I am also a hopeless romantic, although I do not believe it is hopeless. I want to sweep someone off their feet. But, I am also a realist, and look at life logically. I know...I admit, I am a dichotomy. I think the old saying applies to me: "A riddle wrapped up in an enigma..." I promise it will be fun, exciting, entertaining...and so much more.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am a martial arts instructor. I am also working on a business with some business partners, the deals with advertising and the entertainment industry. I am studying to get my Microsoft Certification, both to help with the business, and to better myself. I am learning to play piano (again...you can ask me about that...) I love to write, but do not do it nearly enough. I am striving to learn at least one more language. I want to improve myself, always...until I am done with this life.

Books: Bible, Sword of Truth series, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, good stories (short or long).

Movies: I love em. Most types. The Princess Bride, Braveheart, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, The Notebook (yes, I love a good romance...), Liar Liar, Tombstone, Bruce Almighty, too many more to list here...I also love animation.

Music: I have a wide range of things I enjoy. Not a big fan of rap, although I hear things now and then that I can tolerate. I listen to mainly country, whatever is on the radio, Buble, Groban, Rock... Basically, whatever I am in the mood for at the moment.

Food: Nah, I hate food. Ok, just kidding. Sushi, Mexican, Italian, BBQ, ok let's be honest, there are not many types I do not like. I also love to cook.

Other Stuff: I love sports. Watching, playing, attending. I am not one of those guys who can not do other stuff, but I do like having athletics in my life. I am not one of those guys who would usually rather watch a game, then spend time with his significant other. Although, it would be really nice to do both.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Lots of things. My brain never seems to want to shut down. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those people who can not focus on the moment. I am also not one of those people who thinks and worries about everything. But, I am one of those people whose brain is always processing things, whether I want it to or not, lol. So, I tend to have an opinion on most things, because I have already thought about it from many different angles. I can explain more later, if you are interested. Why can I explain it...um, because I have thought about it a lot...I thought I already told you that?!

Glad the work week is over! I typically am hanging out with my friends. Maybe at a country club with them, dancing the two-step. Sometimes I am at home relaxing. I can enjoy just about anything with the right people (or person).

Life is too short. Too many of us make excuses as to why we are not happy. In truth, we are usually the biggest hurdle to our own happiness. I say that, because I have done that to myself in the past, as have you. Give things a shot...if not with me, then with someone. You both deserve it.
