My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I had a dream, and in my dream a women was wading in water up to her waist. Her hair cascading down her back like tresses of silk. But I could not see her face. The sun shone down on the water making it shimmer like silver, as the morning fog obscured all around her. She is whom i seek, the women in the water. She is a vivacious soul, full of life and energy. It may sound like an antiquated idealistic dream, but we must not stop dreaming, because when we stop dreaming. Our lives become a monotonous day to day passages of time.

I am an old soul in this modern mans body. I believe in loyalty, monogamy, honor and trust, mixed in good measure with joy and laughter and what you have is somthing wonderful.

What I seek is this..
If I were to envision myself as a character from a classical piece of literature. I would see myself as A'rtagion seeking his Madame Bonaczir (except for the part where Madame Bonaczir is married)

*As a side note to give some insight into my character, I recently got a message from a rather attractive women that simply said " you seem pretty cool, by the way I'm DTF"...I had to Google this acronym to figure it out...and was rather surprised, a coworker I was telling this little blurb said " Jay, if you had to Google it...just think of it as a good thing"...needless to say, I believe that means I've got integrity. And as your reading this your going...." A man on OKC with integrity...say its not so"*
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring the world around me, whether it be across the street or on the other side of the globe. Our world is a fascinating place full of stories and legends craving to be written down for posterity. Fortuneately, one does not always need a passport in which to travel, one merely needs to have the creative spirit and willingness to learn new things. Oh and Google helps too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Their are a lot of things I am good at, I'm really good at writing short stories, if only i could finish them. Ive been known to write a few lines of verse from time to time, whether it be good or bad, I'll let you be the judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To be quite honest, I have no idea.

The written word is not a lost art form, as some would have us think. It has merely evolved, and in my humble opinion is quite alive and thriving. That being said, there are so many good things to read, but im partial to historical works and memoirs. People's lives fascinate me, their thoughts, dreams, failings and aspirations all culminate into a work of art formed in words.

Ive not been to a movie in some time, I think the last one i saw was Walter Mitty.
Im rather picky when it comes to TV shows, as i dont watch a lot of it. But I do enjoy Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife and Mr. Selfridge on PBS.

I've recently discovered a program on BBC America that I can't get enough of " The Musketeers"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food
Water
Fire
Air
Cell Phone (neccessary evil of the modern world)
Shelter

I'm not a budhist, but i do think we cling to 'things' a bit to much, there is beauty in simplicity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can better myself, not only as a person, but as a man.

Why OKC seems to think i live in Ithaca, NY.

Why online dating, seems to be an epic game of 20 questions. Rather than a conduit for the natural flow of conversation between two people.

Why most but not all of the interesting women that i've had conversations with on OKC, are mostly either in Ithaca, or Scranton.

What is the proper etiquette and protocol for online dating, as thus far I've heard many stories of dudes kicking off conversations with.."so when would you like to f__k." And realizing I'm not that guy, I think I'm a pretty decent fella and dare I say it...a gentlemen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually spent at home reading one thing or another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I suppose if you want to call it a "private thing", I loathe secrets. I much prefer openess and honesty above all else.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well, first off...you should messege me if you want to..seems simple enough. In addition you should also messege me if you believe your smile lights up a room, smiles are like rays of the sun..they warm everyone around them, and also you enjoy just the sillyness of banter between two people
