Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Profile Re-Work: I was rereading what I had previously put here,
and found it to be rather dry and stale, and probably overly wordy.
So I'll attempt to be a bit more concise and to the point. But I
make no promises.
So, a little bit about me. Well, I'm 40, divorced and a father of
two awesome young men, ages 11 and 7. I enjoy a number of different
activities, from cycling to long drives, to short day trips. My
youngest plays football, and there is nothing like watching your
child on the football field, putting his heart and soul into the
I suppose you could say that I'm also a bit of a history nerd, nut,
buff, whatever euphemism floats your boat. Exploring the past,
especially that of your local community is a very interesting and
rewarding experience, it takes the dusty academic quality and gives
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring the world around me, whether it be across the street or
on the other side of the globe. Our world is a fascinating place
full of stories and legends craving to be written down for
posterity. Fortuneately, one does not always need a passport in
which to travel, one merely needs to have the creative spirit and
willingness to learn new things. Oh and Google helps too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Their are a lot of things I am good at, I'm really good at writing
short stories, if only i could finish them. Ive been known to write
a few lines of verse from time to time, whether it be good or bad,
I'll let you be the judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To be quite honest, I have no idea.

The written word is not a lost art form, as some would have us
think. It has merely evolved, and in my humble opinion is quite
alive and thriving. That being said, there are so many good things
to read, but im partial to historical works and memoirs. People's
lives fascinate me, their thoughts, dreams, failings and
aspirations all culminate into a work of art formed in words.
Ive not been to a movie in some time, I think the last one i saw
was Walter Mitty.
Im rather picky when it comes to TV shows, as i dont watch a lot of
it. But I do enjoy Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife and Mr.
Selfridge on PBS.
I've recently discovered a program on BBC America that I can't get
enough of " The Musketeers"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cell Phone (neccessary evil of the modern world)
I'm not a budhist, but i do think we cling to 'things' a bit to
much, there is beauty in simplicity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where the future will take me, and who will be a part of that
future. What is she like, what are her hopes and dreams.
There is so much more that i could put in this little space,
however, if I did that, what would we talk about.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually spent at home reading one thing or another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I suppose if you want to call it a "private thing", I loathe
secrets. I much prefer openess and honesty above all else.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well, first off...you should messege me if you want to..seems
simple enough. In addition you should also messege me if you
believe your smile lights up a room, smiles are like rays of the
sun..they warm everyone around them, and also you enjoy just the
sillyness of banter between two people
