My career has lead me to Academia, and I couldn't be happier. My first exposure to teaching was as a Lifeguard. Where I was able to teach the mommy-and-me babies, all the way up to adults learning to swim for the first time. There is nothing more rewarding in seeing a student learn a new skill, and know that you were the one to fan that flame! If you get the chance to teach someone, push aside the fear and doubt, and go for it! It will be just as rewarding for you, as it is for the student.
I also enjoy learning new things. I'm always willing to go out adventuring. I have driven up to and back from Yosemite in the same day, or flown up and back from San Francisco! Silly...maybe, but it is now a great story and a better memory. I want my life to be a, I don't know... gold star memory making machine! I'm always thinking about where to go next.
With a focus on Design and Architecture, I continue to be amazed with the art of construction. I'm always interested in learning new techniques. Ever since I was little, I was always able to build things fairly easily, and I guess that desire really hasn't faded. I consider myself a pretty good handyman when it comes to residential remodels.
That just about sums up, what I like to call, the digital Me. I can guarantee you that the real Me is much more expressive! Just look at that face up there...nice smile maybe, but he never blinks, he never says anything... I hope you get to meet the real Me one day soon!
I am looking for a Woman that I can continue making "gold star" memories with. Someone to be a friend first, and then hopefully much more. I don't want to make a long laundry list of what you NEED to be. I just want you to be You, and if personalities, emotions, and feelings align, then we can take that first step together.
