Hi. I love listening to music, going to live shows and festivals, and dancing. I also like doing things outdoors like hiking and camping or just going to the river, which I did just about every weekend this summer. I like to party, but I'm also committed to working for a better world.

I can be a little shy in person unless I've already met you, and then I'm slightly less shy, unless I'm drinking, in which case I'm way less shy, haha.

I was born in Santa Rosa, have lived a lot of other places in the US, and have lived in Sacramento since I moved here in 2007 for school.

I just started my third year of law school this fall. This summer I worked at another county's public defender's office. I'm also involved with the Green Party.

Law school is a way for me to get more skills to work for causes I believe in, which is what motivates me, not money, since I was getting by just fine before I went back to school.

So basically I'm trying to do my part to make positive change that we desperately need while enjoying life along the way.

I love sci-fi books, also fantasy, sometimes interesting non-fiction, but law school kind of puts a damper on my recreational reading. But this summer I read one of the new Dune series sequels and have started on a William Gibson...

I like lots of different kinds of movies, mostly dramas, comedies, and sci-fi and action sometimes. I usually only watch them with other people, though.

Reggae music is my favorite but I'm also into hard rock/metal as well as hip hop - just about anything danceable but probably not country, though I can get down with some folkish stuff... Whatever my friends' and my brother's bands are playing ;)

Food I'm not too picky about, I like just about anything. But I like pizza, chinese, thai, mexican, indian, like I said just about anything ;) I try to eat healthy when I'm home alone, like a salad for one meal each day, but during the summer I seem to end up at a lot of BBQs, haha.

Meeting some friends for a BBQ, then going out to hear some music at a bar or a party, trying to get an after party started, etc.

Though when school is in session, many of my Friday nights are spent like every other night, studying until 11 PM approximately. But I'm always hoping to do something fun instead...

I don't care what most people think about me. But some people I care a lot about what they think about me. I guess it depends on what I think about you? ;)

I think some women are scared off by my strongly affectionate nature, which is important for me to be able to express whether or not we are going for a 'serious' relationship.
