My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
How to speak about oneself without sounding self-aggrandizing? Oh well. I'm the kind of guy that likes to greet life's challenges with a "What fresh hell is this?" and a sardonic smile.

Sarcasm is my language of choice and I like to pretend I'm witty. I think the best way to learn is by debate and being challenged.

Politics is important to me and I try to stay aware of the events shaping the world.

I'm told I have a good sense of humor (caveat: they tend to mean so bad it's good).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a college student, working on a political science major with a minor in international studies. I intend to go into law school afterwards.

Why law? I like helping people and law seems to be a good way to do that. I'm an optimist; sue me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmm, dry humor and sarcasm are probably my greatest skills.

I like to consider myself to be a moderately skilled writer, but I'm too shy to show most people my writings.

Dispensing with modesty, I am an absolute boss at video games...and maybe a little too competitive about them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know; it's something I've never thought about. I've been told I have a very distinctive laugh, so let's go with that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The LOTR books, Harry Potter, the Grimnoir Chronicles, The Dresden Files. A Song of Ice and Fire. Everything by Brandon Sanderson. I have a love hate relationship with the Wheel of Time series. Everything by Neil Gaiman, especially American Gods. Terry Pratchett is my hero.

I also enjoy historical documents and biographies.

Music: too many to name, in too many genres. Not a day passes without some Florence+ the Machine and some classic rock. I also enjoy instrumental pieces when I'm working or need to relax.

Shows: Doctor Who, ADVENTURE TIME!, Archer, Supernatural, Firefly, Buffy and Angel. Everything else Joss Whedon touches.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1) My laptop (and internet access). I go through withdrawals.
2) A good book, preferably fantasy/sci-fi.
3) A gaming console
4)Good food
5) My friends and family
6) A place to escape to when things get crazy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like spending time thinking about the future. Where do I see myself in ten years, what am I doing and how do I get there. Occasionally, I like to throw in some navel gazing and daydreaming for fun.
