Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After nearly six years in Philadelphia, and a brief layover in Ohio
where I'm from originally, I've relocated to Chicago to begin a new
professional chapter. I fell in love with that toddlin' town while
visiting friends over the years, and I'm excited by the new
adventures that lie ahead. Looking for quality, meaningful
friendship and dating that could grow into more. Open-minded,
professional, passionate, quick-witted guy; tennis fanatic.
Non-smoker (& prefer the same).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Former public-school instrumental music teacher now working in arts
administration, currently for a university. I've had the chance to
develop and use a number of skills in many endeavors, and I'm
looking forward to how the next chapter will unfold. "There is no
such thing as luck. Luck is preparation meeting the moment of
opportunity." (Thanks, Oprah.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At 6 foot 5 inches tall, I imagine that other people are looking
up at my sparkling blue eyes. But, you can decide for
yourself what you'd notice first.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
As every contestant in Wheel of Fortune chose "R S T L N and E" for
years/decades to solve the final puzzle, the show's producers
finally got wise and asked contestants to pick other
letters. A similar approach might be helpful with this question as
well, with many OKCupid-ers professing their love for "friends,
family, love, computer, smartphone, and a pet."
So, six other things that enhance my experience of life:
Tennis, Diet Coke, music (in all forms), import beers, musical
theater, sarcastic comedy fare. Love to share these interests
(well, except perhaps my Diet Coke) and enjoy learning more about
the interests and passions of others.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How awesome it would be to see Allison Janney, Lauren Graham, Amy
Poehler, and Tina Fey in the same sit-com, written by Aaron Sorkin.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dream of being a world-class tennis chair umpire, and you may
stumble upon me practicing my 'official' voice and pronunciation
with repeated utterings of, "Advantage, Pavlyuchenkova."
