Stalker reports.
Sep 3, 2007
So, I think I'm playing stalker tag with some of my stalkers.
See, I look to see who has looked.
Then I go look at their profiles.
Then the next day, some of them have come back to look at my profile again.
So I kind of suspect that we're all playing tag :P

WTF Reports
Sep 1, 2007
So, I recently requested a "WTF (What to Fix)" report with my SO.
It started a two day half-fight over one of the questions.
It left me pondering a number of things about the OK Cupid system. It seems to me that many of the questions are worded in an interpretable fashion, with too many elements to the question.
During the course of the debate on this particular one, we discovered that the source of our disagreement was the emphasis placed on each part of the question.
"Is it ever okay to tell your partner that they are not allowed to have someone as their friend?"
For me, it is not only no but HELL NO; I focused on the "telling me I am NOT ALLOWED to do something," while everyone else focused on the relative relationships, and the circumstances that might result in this need coming about. We all eventually agreed to table it until it was not an academic point of inquiry.
But it's not the only one. So, just so people know, don't request a WTF report unless you *really* want to know.

Stolen sheep-imitation
Mar 15, 2007
Stolen from another user, simply because I'm not that sleepy
tonight. If anyone can explain to me why my good headphones were in
my underwear basket... Additionally, I intend to skip all the
dialogue tracks, such as the Harry Houdini speech from "Swordfish,"
etc.
My Life Soundtrack
If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be?
Remember, don't cheat!
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend your cool...
My 7. Go back and do it again and see if you get better results because the first round makes you seem like a sick fuck.
My 8. Go back, and pick the song *you* would have picked instead of trusting Apple to do it for you, because the second round didn't get any better :P

The system has requested a post.
Mar 11, 2007
The system would like me to add a 1,000 character journal post, and
I am killing a Sunday evening.
What do you do with a journal post on this thing, though? Animadvert about politics? Discuss your most recent favorite movie? Ponder the mysteries of life? Make vulgar comments about the same and opposite sexes?
Okay.
I tend toward the libertarian ideology. I think the government should work on the public sector and on keeping corporations in line, and keep their noses out of most everything else. For example, I am not pro- or anti-abortion. I am pro-choice. If it isnt your body, you dont get a say in it. Same thing for gay sex. Texas has finally accepted that anal sex is not a crime, but it isnt the legislatures bedroom! Same thing for gay marriage. If you, a traditional white American male, are against gay marriage, I recommend marrying a woman instead of a man. Just an idea. However, dont prevent my best friends, who are more in love than you will ever be, from getting a tax break, just because your God believes that male-on-male action isnt as hot as male-on-female. Basically, keep your Bible-based morals out of my pagan life and off my lawbooks, and stick to ethics and treating people the way youd want to be treated.
I recently (like a month ago or so) discovered the movie Hitch, starring Will Smith, who is one of my favorite actors in the history of ever. Its a clever movie, with a lot of obvious tips that you dont think about consciously, but which are damn good reminders! It also meets my escapist, happily ever after requirement for film and literature.
There are no mysteries of life. There is only a lack of communication and what is usually a missed opportunity to make something out of each day.
Boobs are awesome. I have no idea why I find them fascinating. I consider myself heteroflexible, basically willing to participate with other women for the purpose of garnering the male interest, but not interested in women on their own sexual merit. That doesnt explain it though. As for men, well men are fascinating. They usually make sense, are usually straightforward, and I just like the look of most of them. If Im sitting in the room, just looking around and smiling, I am probably just enjoying the view.
Yep, sure enough, thats how you make a long post on this. Answer random questions that you make up, get 2,418 characters out of the deal.
