Long story short...

I just beat cancer. I'm supposed to be dead, but I'm still here. While I thank God and my friends everyday for this, I know some changes need to be made. One of the realizations that became of this experience is life is much harder without a partner. I've always been someone who never thought I needed any help. I find that untrue now. None of us are an island. When life throws you a curveball, having a partner that you love and trust is a gift.

I don't really like internet dating but it's 2015 and here we are. It's a beauty contest and we're all here with our best foot forward. As for dating in NYC, it's a rough scene. I think the biggest drawback is what makes the city unique, the variety of people makes it tough to settle down. I'm guilty of it, but after my experience, I really look forward to staying in (or going out for a nice dinner) with someone who is the apple of my eye.

Thank you for reading my profile and do drop me a note if you'd like to. I hope everyone on here finds the person they want to come home to.

4. A fireplace, a comfy chair and a nap in the dead of winter.
