My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a mix of vintage and new age. I enjoy older technology whenever possible... Vinyl & CD > Digital any day, I take analogue pictures more than digital even though I own both and I also shave with a 100 year old straight razor.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently touring the country with a musical.

But finally home in Chicago for a bit!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking: if I hadn't gotten into theatre I would have become a Chef and I love to spend time in the kitchen.....although I hate doing dishes. Can't they learn to clean themselves? I mean it is 2014

Wine and Spirits: I just passed the first part of the Sommelier Certification and I'll never turn down a good whiskey or scotch.

Theatre (not an actor) and whistling (I can hum and whistle at the same time it's on my résumé along with tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue.)

Lastly teaching. I was a special education teacher for 5 years working with Autistic and "E.D" classified students. I gained as much, if not more, from teaching as the kids I worked with did. I absolutely loved it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my moustache

My musical taste truly runs the gambit.....some current on the playlist are:
Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Anaïas Mitchell, Philip Glass, Fever Ray, City and Color, Kurt Elling, Robert Plant, Radiohead, David Bowie, The Streets, Amos Lee, The Moody Blues, John Legend, Imagine Dragons, John Boutté, JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound, The Band and all the Classic bands anyone would love to listen to.

I read more plays, magazines and audio manuals (Geek ALERT!) than books but I do enjoy a good read: Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, Tucker Maxx, David Mamet and Tolkin are a few of my standards. I have also read the Complete Works of Shakespeare more than once.

I could write another whole list of all the shows and movies I like but we'd be here for hours and you'd probably get bored so lets save the rest of this favorites list till later.

Food: ALL of really ALL OF IT! Especially cheese and bacon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Arts (visual and performance), coffee, friends & family, good food and time off work to travel.

Oh....and my bike.Yeah that's 7 but oh well!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food, Wine, music and which Scotch, Whiskey or Bourbon to pour myself when I get home (I have a huge wine and whiskey collection)

Why we as a society aren't doing more to promote and support the arts and arts education.

Space and the universe. It's a pretty cool place when you sit and look/think about it.

What my next food, wine or travel adventure will be....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The same thing I do every night, Pinky - try and take over the world!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't put my music on shuffle in front of others! It always seems to throw in the random Musicals or the Katy Perry I have at the worst times.

The interrobang is my favorite punctuation?!

And I high five more than I probably should.
