My name is Joe, some choose to call me Rooster. ( It's a funny and perverted story but that is for a personal discussion). I read profusely and talk just as much. Nothing is better to me for fun with friends then coffee and conversation.

I am stubborn as hell,(blame my mother) though on many things I just don't care what people do and say.

I am spiritual but not exactly religious I consider myself to be a neo-catholic (catholic traditions with out the pope being God's voice on earth or the idea of confession involving a man in a dress). I also follow the theory if one is to be a good "Christian" one should try to be "Christ Like", which is why I also believe in Peace, Love, Acceptance, and Compassion. I have my beliefs and I am sure you have yours, respect mine and I will respect yours. I'm always up for a good debate.

I am a smoker and will not quit because you want me to! I will not quit until I want to for myself, which isn't anytime soon. I don't care if you smoke or not. I have No problem with drinking as I believe strongly that everything should be handled in moderation.( hint MODERATION is the key word!). Even Sober, you can have fun people.

Another pet peeve is, I hate when someone pays more attention to the phone then the present company. I understand important things and such, but for God's sake if your friends are texting you every five minutes the date can't go very good now can it? Facebook isn't going anywhere, and neither is your inbox.

I am currently a CNA (Certified Nurses Aide). Working at a hospitsl in Flint. Though I have two years of Psychology under my belt and three years Culinary arts. My Minor is Human Sexuality.

My goal is to be a family/marital counselor, a counselor to LGBTQ youth, sex therapist and psychological profile adviser for the FBI and police on sex crimes and serial killers and cereal killers (I want to catch that Damn Tony The Tiger by his toe and string him up like David Carradine. hehe.)

I also run a small business. I do readings per tradition, and find it rewarding. I've been doing Tarot, crystal ball and palmistry readings since I was four. And recently became the new hot item on the Flint and surrounding areas list of readers.

I also moonlight as a waiter at Denny's in Lansing.

Grandma always said "If you can't be good, be good at it!" I'd like to think I'm the best at what i do. I honestly would prefer if you made your own judgments on what I am and am not good at.

I've recently been told I have have a deep sexy voice by like ten people. Most of whom were random as hell. For example, please read journal entry "Gay Guy and the Black Pussy". Also been told the only two ways most figure me to be gay is my smile and my grace....I don't understand either points. I suppose when four friends agree and then random strangers on the forum mention these things....kinda have to admit that its true. Damn my effulgent smile!

When I need to vent or get worked up its angry hevey metal and alternitive, when I want to mellow its Soft and Slow and soulful and usually goes with slow dancing and a bottle of wine.

I love indie films and obscure french films like 8 femmes. I spend most of my time spent watching T.V. watching the sundance and IFC and enjoying The History Channel, and Chiller a bit. I'm Sicilian and German and raised by a black southern woman, so all three and toss in Chinese, Japanese,Thai, Mexican and French. If you In Flint or it's surrounding areas I suggest Siganos, Pesto's, John's on Davison rd, El Azteca, Carl's Best, and Lucky's, and oliver T's is the only halfway decent Baqquet I've had since Paris, perfect for some fruit and brie and a fine wine...which they have too! :-D

Why is it that the common phrase "The best ones are taken or gay" does not apply to those who are gay and looking? It seems to me the gay version is "the best ones are taken or breeders"...

Why are Americans so backwards....having been raised here, why do I feel more at home in Europe?
