I'm kind and fun and a little ridiculous and I'm probably going to read your profile out loud to myself in a hideous British accent, so keep that in mind.

I value intimacy, articulation of feelings, talking about everything, swimming, positive queer spaces, acknowledgement of privilege, baking desserts, blatant feminism, radical anti-racism (which often means owning my own micro-aggressions), spontaneous dance parties, singing, acupuncture, travelling, family, friends, poetry, pop culture, critiquing pop culture, plenty of introverted down-time, Disneyland, magic, board games, hot tubs, body hair, chests (men's particularly, but women's are great too!), and not fixing emotions. INFP, heavy emphasis on the I.

Generally, being awesome and occasionally confronting my narcissism. Vocationally, working in LGBTQ non-profit and starting a small business. Personally, deepening friendships, choosing vulnerability, and practicing gratitude. Physically, pilates and yoga and qigong. Spiritually, meditating.

Singing along out of key (not because I don't hear it, but because my range is limited!), feeling, giving foot massages, coming up with fantastic names for my canine, sleeping in, listening, playing.

I have lots and lots and lots of favorites. I consider partaking in and critiquing pop culture to be one of my vocations. I'll try to keep these lists on the shorter side, and keep in mind that I tend to like blokes with different interests than mine.

Movies: Amélie, Moulin Rouge, LOTR, Harry Potters (except 4!), Wes Anderson films, Away We Go, Shortbus, Breakfast with Scot, Patrik Age 1.5, The Birdcage, Deepa Mehta films, The Lives of Others, The Fall, The Hunger Games, Pina, Baraka, Serenity. Oh, Film Festivals and Oscar Nominated Shorts!

TV Shows: Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who (RTD), Joss Whedon, Geek & Sundry, Arrested Development, Futurama, 30 Rock, LOST, Star Trek (Voyager and TNG especially), Battlestar Galactica, Miranda, Summer Heights High, Game of Thrones, Ellen.

Music: Tons, but absolute favorites lie in the folk/americana/bluegrass categories, generally of the female variety, such as The Wailin' Jennys, Patty Griffin, Allison Krauss & Union Station, Kate Rusby, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, Nickel Creek. Don't worry, I can sing along to Top 40 and that indie band only you and your friends know about, too.

Food: Anything not american (i.e. not meat & potatoes). Spicy yes, dairy no.

Seinfeld-esque jokes/commentary on daily life. Relationship dynamics. When my next nap will be. My friends. What's for dinner. What my next adventure will be. What my superpowers would be today.

Reading, relaxing with friends, board games, karaoke at Rock Box, seeing a movie/concert/play/dance.

I sing the songs that are stuck in my head but replace lyrics to make them about my dog. So instead of, "You can go your own way, go your own wa-aay" for example, I may sing, "You can pet Orion, pet O-ri-ion!" This never gets old for me.

You can articulate your feelings in the present moment. You value differentiation in relationships. You have spent time getting to know and love yourself. You're passionate and like to share your passion with others. You want to take care of your man equally as much as you want him to take care of you. You're extraverted and want an introvert to help balance you out a bit. The prospect of couples therapy in your future is exciting because you understand that satisfying relationships take work and asking for help.
