Dear Grandma,
You were an important part in my life. Sure, I may not have seen you as often as I would have liked, but you still meant so much to me. The times that we spent together were some of the best times I have ever had. As said by the minister, "let us not think of the bad times you may have had, but think of the good times." There were no bad times with you, but I can't help but to feel hurt that you're gone from my life forever.

"Do not mourn for me, for I have not left you. Look in the eyes of my grandchildren and you will find me there."

That quote makes more sense to me now. You will always be in my eyes, my sister's eyes, my brother's eyes, my cousin's eyes, my mom's eyes, and my aunt and uncle's eyes and hearts.

Everybody has a reason to live, I guess your reason came sooner than I thought. Everyone also has a reason to die but we all think "why does it happen to the one[s] I love?" I've come to realize this: the older you get, life gets harder. Not because of physical health but for mental health. There is only so much people are capable of doing.

I cried 5 times yesterday, Grandma, and once every day previous from when Mom told me the news. I love you with all my heart and will miss every second we spent together. Your family will be up there to see you some day. Tell Grandpa I said hi and give him my love too.

I'll miss you.

I found my soul mate. Yeah, you're thinking "She's lying. She's way too young." I don't CARE if you believe it or not. I love him more than anything and more than any of you could ever, EVER know. You can't control when you connect with someone, short of ignoring them. He's changed me for the better. I am improving physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I can spend my life with him, and I plan to. I can't find one thing I don't like about him. He likes things I don't like and I like things he doesn't but that doesn't matter. If I didn't like him for that, that would be like me hating one of my friends because I don't like another friend THEY have. It's just stupid, selfish, and whoever thinks that has some major insecurities they need to work out.

We have much, much more in common; more than my best friend and I do. "Opposites attract" is just something people say when they want to keep an open mind. That's what I think, at least.

Well I'll stop boring you. I need to go take a shower and eat breakfast before I head off to work. =\ Oh joy.
