I am redeemed, forgiven, perspicacious, sesquipedalian, recalcitrant yet sensitive, strong-willed yet pondering, veracious, direct yet prefering to avoid conflict, godly, integrity-filled, intelligent, creative, discerning and relational.

Seriously, I like words. I am a wordsmith with a quirky sense of humor that ranges from sarcasm to slapstick.

My heart is set on children's ministry--and I'm looking for someone who has that same heart. No one seems to care about children--but they are incredibly important and close to God's heart. They are a huge ministry. If you share God's heart for children, it might work out! Otherwise, there is no chance.

→The Bible is genuinely my favorite thing. I adore reading it, and I strongly recommend it to everyone. It's not just for some people; as long as you breathe air, God's word is for you. Jeremiah is my favorite book of the Bible because I'm so similar to the Prophet Jeremiah.

A1) Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Karen Hancock's The Light Of Eidon, The Shadow Within, Shadow Over Kiriath and Return Of The Guardian-King. Also, Frank Peretti's Piercing The Darkness and This Present Darkness. God's Bible (or The Bible, either term works). Walter Wangerin Jr.'s The Book Of The Dun Cow. Botchan by Natsume Soseki. Frank Peretti's The Oath is my favorite book ever written by a human. Most things by Ted Dekker. Louis L'amour is good too. Plenty of other things. I like to read.

A2) My favorite scholars include Alec Motyer, Henrietta Mears, Christopher J.H. Wright, Michael Wilcock, Derek Kidner, Duane A. Garret, D.A. Carson, Ronald B. Allen, Gleason Archer, G.J. Wenham, R.K. Harrison, Charles Feinberg, T.D. Alexander, R. Laird Harris, etc. There are a lot.

B) All three Lord Of The Rings, Episodes 4-6 of Star Wars, Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country, Hangman's Curse, the newest version of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, The Visitation, Braveheart, Gladiator, The Passion Of The Christ, The Last Samurai, End Of The Spear, Shrek, Shrek 2, Megamind, What About Bob?, The Man Who Knew Too Little and The Emperor's New Groove. More stuff.

C) Columbo, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Monk, Star Trek: Voyager, Quantum Leap, Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes.

D) CCM and Classical. CCM especially, although I don't mind Hymns, R & B, Gospel or Christian Worship. For CCM specifically, I love the music of Keith Green, Jars of Clay, Kathy Troccoli, Rich Mullins, Carman, Petra, Avalon, Newsboys, Simple Truth, Audio Adrenaline, David Meece, Amy Grant, Nichole Nordeman, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James, 2nd Chapter of Acts, etc. I could go on for a while here.

E) Shrimp Fajitas and Fruit Mixes. I like meat too. I pretty much eat anything set in front of me that isn't crawling away, but I certainly appreciate good food.
