My self-summary
I could give you my complete biography but it's more interesting to talk about what I value and what I'm looking for. To list some adjectives, I'm loyal, curious, patient and tolerant. I'm definitely carefree and laid-back but get along fine with all. I don't have a five year plan or anything that's set in stone long-term--I tend to take things day by day and everything seems to work out. I'm looking for someone who's genuine, upbeat and lighthearted. I've been in the DC area seven years now and know there's so much to explore still. I'm looking forward to sharing this with someone!
What I’m doing with my life
Working a 9-5 for the government. I like my job most days but it’s not how I define myself.
I’m really good at
Adapting to whatever situation confronts me. Things often don't go as planned so it's important to be flexible and not stress over little things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I mostly read nonfiction. The last fiction book I read was Silver Linings Playbook.

Music: Mostly rock with some top 40/whatever is on the radio mixed in. Some favorites are Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Kings of Leon.

Food: I feel I'm the only person in DC who's not a foodie. I'll try anything though. Sometimes I don't know what I'm eating but it usually tastes good.
The six things I could never do without
1. Sunny days
2. Music. I just went a few weeks without tv in my apartment and didn't feel I missed much. I couldn't imagine going that long without music. There's always something playing in my apartment.
3. Beer. I'm always trying IPAs. I'm from the Philly area so Yuengling is a staple.
4. Quality pizza. Tough to find in DC but there's a few places.
5. Running shoes
6. Optimism
Of course family and friends too. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out for happy hour in Chinatown, Dupont, or Arlington. Most of my friends live in VA and I'm the one who convinces everyone to go out in DC.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You're going to have to earn this one.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–32
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're interested in getting together for a drink and good conversation. Sarcasm, a quick sense of humor and a little sass are really attractive!
