AND!! - Can we please declare a moratorium on women's profiles that say "I love to laugh" and "I live life to the fullest"
I'm very young at heart and looking for the same. A game or movie on TV is great, but I prefer to be outside. Autumn in Connecticut is a wonderful time. Want to go to a fair, catch a Husky football game, go apple picking or wine tasting? Meeting for coffee or drink with no pressure is always a great place to start.
As for me....I'm a Dad to two wonderful amazing teen boys, with whom I'm very involved. I have many interests but no unhealthy obsessions. I'm a great cook (culinary school grad), I own my own business where helping others achieve their goals is my mission. I work extremely hard but have a very flexible schedule. I don't take myself too seriously, and I'm not drawn to those who do.
I think my best years are ahead, and I want to find someone who wants to walk that path with me.
At this point in our lives, we both know what we want. Physical attraction is as important as ever, but we want more too. I'm hoping to meet a woman who shares my interests but will teach me about hers. She has kids and will enjoy mine. She doesn't want a man with lots of toys, but does want a man with depth of character. She doesn't judge a man by his material possessions, but on his kindness, honesty and personality. She loves my sense of humor. She has diverse interests and has a zest for learning.
I'm sure that none of us ever expected to be online looking for a partner at this point in our lives. But let's embrace this opportunity and enjoy the experience!
