My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Jesse. :-)

I'll skip the basics since they're already on my profile page.

I'm an honest person who doesn't play dating games. At this point, I'm much more certain that I want to build a long-term relationship with the right person. I'd like to be with someone who cherishes all aspects of a relationship: trust, honesty, emotion, love, friendship, adventure, openness, and more. I'm looking to meet someone who wants a long-term relationship and doesn't want to continue dating for the sake of dating. I know it sounds like a lot, but I know what I'm looking for at this point in my life.

I'm a die-hard sports fan like most guys -- Mets, Jets, and Knicks for me (yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment). :-) I've been politically active in the past (worked on a campaign), so I'm always interested in politics, despite its massive failings (yes, I'm a Democrat and a liberal). I'm definitely a dog and cat person, but I love dogs more. Bigger dogs are great because it's easier to play with them and hug them and not be afraid that you're going to step on them. :-)

Although I live on Long Island, I spend a lot of time in NYC for work and fun. I'll always like Long Island, but the city is so full of life and fun things to do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just became a new lawyer, so I'm looking to move from part-time to full-time work. When I'm not working, I make sure to have fun, whether it's spending time with friends or family, reading a good book, or going to a Mets game. I do my best to make sure that I have a good work-life balance.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sports (especially baseball) trivia and entertainment trivia. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I have really nice eyes.

Wow, where to begin?

There are too many movies which I like. I love to go see different types of genres of movies.

I'm mostly a fan of classic rock (60s, 70s, 80s). Beatles, CCR, Queen, etc. But, I'll listen to some modern stuff too. I'm also into love songs, disco, jazz, different types of rock, etc.

I always love eating Greek, Chinese, Sushi, Italian, Mexican, and so forth. However, I would like to improve my cooking skills. :-)

I try to keep up with a lot of TV shows, but my favorites on right now are Game of Thrones, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, American Horror Story, The Big Bang Theory, The Americans, Agents of SHIELD, The Blacklist and Homeland.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
family and friends
Mets baseball and Jets football
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
It really depends on my mood. I could suddenly have an interest in politics, or I can start thinking about the history of the NYC subway system. Who knows what I'll be thinking about tomorrow.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There isn't a set plan for any particular Friday night. Possibilities include staying in to watch a movie or read, spending time with family, spending time with friends, bar/restaurant, beer garden, Shabbat service, or who knows what else.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ok. I still get goosebumps (Star Wars) or cry (Home Alone) at the end of certain movies.

If you're looking for a Jewish guy, I should let you know in advance that my mother's not Jewish. It may or may not matter to some Jewish women. I just think it's important for me to say that up front, so there it's not a huge surprise later on.

If you are looking to settle down with the right Jewish guy and you're interested enough after reading my profile that you want to say hello and get to know me (and want me to get to know you), then feel free to say hello. :-)
