My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Kind of a nerd with a touch of too cool for school, (Let's be honest a total nerd - who says too cool for school) equally comfortable in heels or in flip-flops, in the city or on the beach, clearing a dance floor or snuggled on the couch watching the game or back to back episodes of something mildly addictive. (Preferably something on the Discovery Channel, Food Network or a genre of Law & Order)

Don't panic, yes, I live in Jersey City. More space AND a back yard! Can you grill? Come on over. I swear the PATH train is not that scary.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying not to fuck it up to the best of my abilities. :) (Working on my swearing but best you are made aware of my tendency to drop an F-Bomb when warranted.)

But in real life I am a busy bee with tons of energy-I plan parties/events, write for work and for play, blog and get to hang out with kids-Little ones and I get along!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
*Creating Lists (Big fan of bullet points)
*Appreciating inappropriate humor
*Making Spoons
*Late night conversations that go on for hours but seem to only last for minutes
*Making people feel warm and fuzzy
*Cooking you an amazing dinner and hoping you'll clean the dishes
*Making seemingly unfun situations fun for everyone. I am a blast at the DMV, waiting on long lines or while stuck in traffic

I am such a nerd and still love actual books/ turning pages-By all my means TRY to convince me of the power of the iPad...I should note, I caved and got a Kindle-BUT I need a book reco!! If you have an amazing MUST READ-please pass along-Would be such a cute way to say hi!

If you would be down for a double feature including bringing your own snacks such as the perfect combo of salty and sweet...If you have a DVD collection including all things Vince Vaughn, 80s Cult Classics and a secret copy of The Notebook...If you can help me stream Net Flix through X Box on my TV-I'm sold ;)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no such order:
1) Beverages-You know the game 'Would You Rather'? Would you rather be eternally thirsty or eternally hungry? Always go for hungry-Nothing worse than being parched. :)
2) My circle of 'people'-You can't choose your family but I am lucky enough to have an AMAZING one but you can choose your friends and I have chosen wisely.
3) Sun, Sand, & Body of Water-I am really happiest on the beach in some capacity. If staying outside all day under the sun playing sounds like a bad time-I would reconsider.
4) Really yummy food-I know, I know I said beverages but damn I am a foodie at heart. Love to cook for others and make big feasts for everyone to share. Love to learn new skills so if you can cook-yay!
5) Music-What fun is life without a beat to dance to?
6) Paper/ Pen-I am old school and have actual notebooks and write stuff down. I am getting better at using the 'Notes' App on my iPhone but still sneak a post-it more often than not.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What exactly does 'Activity Partners' mean? I feel like that leaves a lot of grey area.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
toss up! Either rallying the troops to go out and play or convincing friends to stay in for a PJ party.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My nickname in highschool was 'shot gun Jen' because I never drove/ delayed getting my license. I can openly admit, I am terrible driver. If we are ever in car-By all means you can drive and I can ride shot gun. :)
