I am multifarious, intrigued, and amused.

My Self-Summary

I am what I am.

***edit*** Apparently writing simply 'I am what I am' is not going to cut it. The authorities demand more. So here I go. I am a guy who goes to school full time, and work full time. Most of the time I spend at work is spent doing one of three things: watching sports on the televisions, covertly filling out a crossword puzzle hidden in my server book, or making snarky and sarcastic comments about the guests and other things affecting my life. Sidebar- if you are one of my superiors reading this, the above was all of course a lie, of course I spend all my time at work diligently working, of course, obviously.

I enjoy watching and playing basketball and football, I enjoy eating both delicacies and comfort food, I enjoy lying in bed for just five more minutes and getting up to kick the day's ass. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge which I primarily get through reading, watching, and listening. I have an unhealthy addiction to Wildberry Skittles. I am a registered republican but did not vote for either McCain this year or Bush in 2004. I get geared up for both Halloween and Christmas, and am rather disappointed in myself that I lost track of time I did not assemble the costume for myself this year that I wanted. I sometimes write sentences that are runons, or have other grammatical issues because I much prefer the comma over the period.

What I’m doing with my life

I am going to school. I have been doing that for quite a while now. In the end the plan is to graduate with a bachelors. After that maybe graduate school. I am still unsure which of my various major I am going to stich with, or if I will change it again. While I am going through my schooling, I also serve and bartend at this classy little eatery called Applebees, perhaps you have heard of it. I am also trying to both seize each day and have a blast doing it.

I’m really good at

The crossword puzzle, well the PD one at least. The NYTimes gets rather tricky from thursday on. Remembering random trivia...not too sure how that is going to help much in the grand scheme of things. Listening, also talking, I suppose. I am pretty good at nintendo games, but the XBOX and Playstation systems have controllers that are too advanced for me. I am really good at eating and doing the dishes, the cooking part might need some work.
Also I am really good receiving back rubs and massages, the verdict is still out regarding how good I am at giving them. And I am really good at making the people I care to make smile, smile.

The first things people usually notice about me

You know what, I am going to ask around and get back to you on this one. I have not really thought about this before, and I would not dare presume.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Great Gatsby . Cloud Atlas . Lolita . Lord of the Rings . The Wind Up Bird Chronicle .
Consider the Lobster . Dune . Franny and Zooey . Watership Down

Movies: LA Confidential . Lord of the Rings . Last of the Mohicans . Elf . Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind . The Goonies . Magnolia . Friday Night Lights . Casablanca . The Princess Bride

Music: I like almost all music. I grew up listening to 80s pop and classic rock so that holds a special place in my heart. But pretty much anything that is not death metal I can get into.

Food: Pizza, Ice Cream, Hamburgers and fries, Italian, Greek

The six things I could never do without

A comfy chair
Television and DVD player
A pool or place to swim
Friends
Family
Dreams

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, what does it all mean, what am I doing with mine? Why are my favorite sports teams all run and managed by buffoons? Why do all of our elected officials seem so clueless? Are they clueless? What do I want for dinner? What movie should I rent? Should I go for it? If I hit the snooze button will I make it back to sleep?

On a typical Friday night I am

Working to be honest. One of the joys of being a server or a bartender. But on a typical Saturday or Thursday night I usually go out to eat somewhere with friends or my roommate. After that I often go out for cocktails somewhere, go to the movies, or retire home to a book or movie in my bathrobe and slippers. Sometimes I bowl. Regrettably I have not gone skating, either ice or roller, in years.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Very sneaky.

You should message me if

You have read about me and looked at my pictures and decided this is the type of person who I would like to be friends with, something more with, or would just like to get to know. Also we should be less then 10 percent enemies or more then 70 percent enemies I would imagine.

Or if you just liked this page or wanted to say hi.
