I'm a friendly but shy girl who likes her quiet down-time, which can make it a challenge for me to meet people. I moved to Victoria from Edmonton a year and a half ago and am finally feeling like this is home, and I'd like to meet more great people to hang out with. :)

This seems like it might be an okay place to mention that I'm bi- and poly-curious. I'm still in the very early stages of learning and pondering and wondering if one or both might be a good fit for me. Time will tell!

Like many people, I’m still figuring this out. I’m in a pretty good place right now, though, and my plan is to relax into it a bit and see where it leads me.

I’ve been branching out in the last couple of years but I still have a long way to go. I’m a magpie and a delicate flower, which makes it difficult sometimes to find things that I like.

TV: Community, 30 Rock, Red Dwarf, Hotel Babylon, Pan Am, Sherlock, IT Crowd, Lip Service

Music: Little bits of everything. If I like it, I like it! (Confession: these days, most of my music collection is comprised of things I Shazam while out shopping...)

Food: I'm in love with the buttermilk biscuit with blueberry jam at Jam Café, the moules frites at The Flying Otter, and perfect peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies at Granville Market. I’m not very good at spicy, don’t like carrots, and still subscribe to the idea that if it doesn’t involve chocolate, it’s not really dessert. Few things make me happier than good food!

Hmmm. I'm really reflective, so I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about how I relate to the people in my life. And just myself in general. That must sound horribly self-centred, but growth and openmindedness are important to me, so I'm constantly checking-in with myself to see how I'm doing with those things.

Happy to just hang out at home, but it's always nice to meet some friends at a house party or a pub.

I’m divorced. Also, I’ve never been skinnydipping and I’d like to fix that.
