My name is Jennifer, I am 22.
I am new to the bay area. I am loving the sun, it is such a great change from the rain in Portland, OR. (better than the sun I have a pool in my back yard! So not possible in Portland)
Right now I am just excited to be here, and looking to meet new people.

A little bit about me:
I like to play xbox in bed and I talk in my sleep.
I am shy around strangers but a total goober with friends.
I would rather go camping than to a spa and to Disneyland than Hawaii.
I am adventurous and spontaneous, I like to go hiking, bunjee jumping, take midnight trips to the coast and I am willing to try anything once.
My tattoo on my shoulder reads "Don't Die Wondering"
I am easily entertained and I love board games. Though my friends and I tend to make up our own rules ;)

This past year I helped found a mentoring organization called Affinity Mentoring. It has been a rough road, with lots of top ramen and many cold calls. After all that, we just successfully landed our first ten clients. So now I get to work on what I enjoy; I am developing some summer retreats and parenting classes for the community. I am extremely grateful that I get to be involved with something I am so passionate about and am able to make a living at it.

I read at least one book a week. I have so many favorites there isn't enough time. But currently topping my list: Ender's Game, The Happiness Hypothesis, and Everyone Worth Knowing.

I have music playing at least 10 hours a day. I love almost all of it. Just not dubstep. Cant take that junk.

Five trips planned: Oregon twice, NYC for Christmas, Colorado, and hopefully Australia. My baby brother is graduating HS. Tahoe for snow season. Training to run a marathon again (getting back in shape). Franchising my company. Buying a house? June will be my one year in Cali. and SO much more! :D

Hopefully dancing, making new friends and just enjoying myself. Though its been difficult lately since I don’t know many people down here. So I am equally as happy playing video games or watching movies in my PJs.

Also, as of late, I am a big fan of dive bars :) Sodini's in Redwood city is this weeks fav ;)
