My self-summary
Jeremy. INTP if that means anything.

Vegan but not one of those vegans, intellectual but not one of those intellectuals, radical but not one of those radicals (i'm anarchist leaning, with non-exclusionary radfem affinities). I like to read but spend more time watching Simpsons. I love my music but don't know the word to many songs. I enjoy cooking but never follow recipes and when I do I won't measure. I make statements and then contradict their implications in an attempt to sound more interesting.

I like to argue and rant over coffee or wine and dance to hip hop sober. I can be bold or awkward given the situation and need glasses partially to see and partially for dramatic emphasis.

I act from time to time, dabble in music but I never properly devoted myself to either. I also occasionally write but less and less often. My mind is often preoccupied with something tangential to study - anxiety, dread, the worlds sublime indifference, vaulting human ambition and the inevitability of death. Moving from study of history, philosophy and religion to psychology. Recently back from exchange and trying as best I can to move back to Europe... Perhaps Barcelona?
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing off my Bachelor of Arts and going into a GradDip in psychology. Interested in existential psychotherapy but we'll see.
I’m really good at
Pretending I understand things. Is this adulthood?

I also drop killer rhymes, wanna know if I am joking?
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, physically probably my hair? Personality wise though I couldn't say. Let me know!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am a bit of a secret Goth. Well not so secret but I keep it hidden with colourful shirts and smiles. I love dark, creepy, melancholic, and macabre themes and revel in artistic existential sorrow. I'll explain to you my love for these themes some day. Dont worry I am still cheery.

Books/ Authors: Camus!
Douglas Adams
Mary Shelly (well Frankenstein)
Ursula La Guin

Film: Trotskyist comedy (it is actually a legitimate genre it seems). Generally things that are fun and entertaining. I will go for an austere german flick from time to time but I will always be won over by any 'point' being made with a sense of humor. In terms of directors I guess Woody Allen (although finding it harder and harder to enjoy his work because he is literally the worst)

TV: QI and other British Panel Shows, Sherlock, Documentaries, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, The Thick of It, Veep, The Simpsons, Game of Thrones and a secret weakness for New Girl (love Wilson)

Music: increasingly listening to mostly hip hop and atmospheric techno but otherwise post-rock, 80s goth stuff, trip hop, folk, psychedelic music of many descriptions, dubstep. I also enjoy jazz and classical. Leonard Cohen, Mogwai and The Cure all get special mentions.

As for food anything yummy hearty and vegan. I have been cooking a lot lately. Taken a hispanic influence recently (empanadas!), but also love my middle eastern and turkish food. That kind of food that is exciting but also warming and meant to be home cooked.
The six things I could never do without
A computer
Copious amounts of good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The nature of the life, universe and everything. The marvel of everything that has come into being and their cries for recognition.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally seeing some live music, maybe a gathering of sorts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I never keep anything to myself. I pleaded guilty at my murder trial. :)
