My self-summary
I'm a teacher, world traveler, and amateur guitar loud-noise maker.

Looking to find my partner in crime. I find passion, intelligence, curiosity, drive, and fiery personalities quite attractive. I'm not looking for someone to agree with me 100% of the time or do all of the things I like to do, and I respect a woman who can tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm looking for somebody with a strong self-awareness, who knows who she is, but is also willing to see how we might fit into one-another's lives. Having a healthy balance between work, fitness, and leisure is very important, even better if there is some overlap between them!

I'm originally from the United States. I grew up in Connecticut, with no major ambitions to ever leave the comforts of American suburbia. Roughly ten years ago, the stars aligned and I found myself in a great position to do some traveling, so I took off on what was supposed to be a one year jaunt to Tokyo. I was lucky enough to make my way into the international school circuit, letting me continue my teaching career and live overseas at the same time. After 4 years of hi-grade raw fish and rocking out in karaoke bars, I decided to pack up and head to Brazil for beautiful beaches and a warmer climate. I ended up in Belo Horizonte, where sadly, there were no beaches. Luckily, what it lacked in coastline, it more than made up for with friendly people, green mountains, and hundreds of barzinhos. I've been living in Bonn the past year and a half, still doing the work I love.

I'm a firm believer that happiness isn't about where you are or how much money you make. It's about the people you share your life with. With the right person, I could happily spend my years in Germany, or fly away together to some random corner of the globe.
