I tend to describe myself as contradictory. Sure of myself yet shy. Knowledgeable, cynical and sharp yet often naive, optimistic and clueless. Open minded, liberal and a feminist but still have some old-world codes of honor. A modern urbanist and technologist that still uses a pen and paper and wants to hike around the world.

I'm a connoisseur of good conversations, good food, well written books and interesting people. Thinking about everything, all the time, in the same time. Collecting random pieces of trivia.

I can find everything to be terribly, dreadfully funny. My humor can be cynical or up-beat, dark or quirky, tactless, blunt, geeky, bawdy, weird or even - heaven forbid - it can include puns. Don't take me seriously, I am never serious, except when I am.

For my hobbies, I write, read, cook, play all sort of games, ride bicycles, dive, travel, join debate teams, host people from couch-surfing and consider how I can take over the world. It's not going that well, sadly. I need more minions. Please apply at the office if you are so inclined.

I elucidate the public in all matters of technology, thingumabobs and machines that goes ping. Since a few people told me that's even more obtuse than usual, i'll say - i'm a journalist in a major newspaper. I get to travel the world and interview VERY interesting people. Quite fun.

Making myself chuckle. Sometimes other people too. Those are the good days.

Books: I started compiling a list of favorite books, but the list was too big. Then I tried for authors, but that proved too unwieldy as well. So, I'm a fan of fantasy, science fiction, satire and historical novels - mostly. I'll read the classics as well and I'm a big fan and collector of rare children books.

Movies: O Brother where are Thou, 12 Angry Man, The Truman Show, Blade Runner, Lord of the Rings, Princess bride, Willow, Pleasantville, The Last Samurai, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Lock' stock and two Smoking Guns, Fight Club, Inception, Star Wars (original trilogy of course), The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta, Clockwork Orange, Ratatouille, Pan's Labyrinth

TV shows: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, Arrested Development, True Blood, Doctor Who, Burn Notice, Pushing Daises

Music: An eclectic mix of everything, with a nod toward blues, jazz, old rock and classical music

Games: Oh, nearly everything. A game designer and writer, and quite enjoy a huge range of such games, including FPS, RPG, TBS, RTS and everything else.

Food: I eat nearly everything. Restaurant hunting is definitely a big thing.
