I am musical, creative, and driven.
My Self-Summary
Hey Guys my name is Joey, I'm very outgoing once I get past the
initial "Nice to meet you" stage. I love taking short/long road
trips, exploring. I lived in NYC for three years and can still get
myself lost, there's so much I've never seen, and it changes
constantly. Was in a two year theatre program, then did some small
shows, and then moved home to NH to perform in
RAGTIME and kinda got stuck here.
What I’m doing with my life
Keeping myself busy working, performing with the NH Gay Men's
Chorus and Cabaret de Boheme, escaping to NYC whenever I can,
working out, trips to the beach, working on the side as a
photographer's assistant.
I’m really good at
I'm suprisingly adept at some car issues (for anyone really into
cars you'd be far from impressed). I'm an arm-chair counselor for
just about everyone who meets me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, I think. Some people say I have a presense that lights up
a room. That's not a bad thing, especially if the power goes out.
Which leads to the second thing they inevitably notice, my cornball
sense of humor and that I take advantage of any and every double
entendre.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Tolkien Books, "Middlesex", David Sedaris, Michael
Thomas Ford, Harry Potter, Orson Scott Card, Stephen King,
Dragonlance books (I collect them...I'm looking for old ones here
and there), Douglas Adams, Tennesse Williams, Terrence McNally,
Paul Rudnick (fav. 3 playwrights)
Music: Broadway, angry chick music (Beth Hart, Alanis, Fiona
Apple), The Beatles, James Taylor, Carol King, Simon &
Garfunkel, Maroon 5, En Vogue, Dee-lite (how early nineties am I?),
Dana Shellmire
Movies: The Tolkien movies, Jeffrey, Kill Bill 1&2, Hedwig,
Hero, Dreamgirls, Clue!, All That Jazz, Labyrinth, The Birdcage,
Moulin Rouge, The First Wives' Club, Eddie Izzard's comedy videos.
TV: LOST, Ugly Betty, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory,
Family Guy, Pushing Daisies
Food: Whatever I cook for myself
The six things I could never do without

Sondheim)
Books (fantasy, plays)

Is LOST back yet?!?
On a typical Friday night I am
Ok...summer is gone. No more Rocky Horror. So Fridays are set aside
to hang out with friends or work on photo shoots or prepare for the
cabaret on Monday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
It's so much more fun to squeeze it out of me ;-)
You should message me if
If you wanna chat about anything above or anything else.
Or if you're "interested": looking for intelligent, fun
conversation, but aren't too uptight to laugh at stupid comedy
shows (a la Family Guy) or yourself. Someone in the arts is a plus
but not a requirement just looking for someone to hang out or get
out of the house with, see a show, have a bite to eat, whatever.
