My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Self-descriptions have always been the most fun part of any plan. Or well, actually they never were. Let's hit you up with some rapid fire keywords: sweet, a little slow, pretty damn nerdy, lame jokes, Ghent, West-Flanders.
Now for the opposite of a "too long; didn't read": I'm a PHP-programming kind of guy. I've finally relocated to Ghent a while ago. When I have some time off you'll fine me all over: behind the keyboard, at the bar or with friends (clichés for everyone!). I used to put some effort into getting a degree at university, but those never worked out. So I'll have a bit more effort to put in to get to where I might like to be, but in the end, that should happen.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When the sun is out (or well, from nine to five) I am a PHP-programmer. I'm still rather new at it and it's all scary and new, but cool too.
Though my mind is more at ease outside of nine to fives, when I can have fun. As mentioned before, I'm kind of a nerd, so a lot of my fun is found behind my keyboard, gaming and surfing the interwebs. Outside of the house, I get nerdy by playing Magic (the Gathering) and some poker.
But since I moved back to Ghent, I also have a lot more chances to get out and go to a bar. And I'd almost forgotten how nice a cold beer with some cool friends can be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lame jokes. I can make puns and just the lamest of jokes at an amazing pace. I should not be as proud of this as I am.
I've also been told I'm good at listening. I don't know if that's just because I'm too ashamed to make the jokes I want to make. You tell me?

I've also been getting a lot of compliments about my eyes lately, so I guess that's a good thing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea. I'd say let me know, but that's a cliché around here (and this profile is already teeming with clichés).
As far as looks are concerned, it's either my eyes or the way my hair is just screwed up. As far as behaviour is concerned, it will definitely be lame jokes. They're often the first thing a new person will hear from me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: a lot of fantasy stuff. Harry Potter, Wheel of Time, Riftwar Cycle. These are great. I also like trying to read some of the "classics" sometimes. However, I don't read enough anymore so I definitely don't go through the amount of books I used to go through.

Series: a hell of a lot. To just name my favourites: Community, Doctor Who and Mad Men. I also really miss House MD. Then a list of others I watch and like: How I Met your Mother, Jeeves and Wooster, Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Top Gear. I used to watch Gossip Girl and Glee. Don't judge me. These lists are probably not complete. Damn you, brain!

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies. Doesn't mean I don't like them, but they're too long to watch alone and I usually have better things to do with other people. However, to name some movies I like: Die Hard, Requiem for a dream and Love Actually.

Food: I love food. Oh my god.I think my favourite food is Spaghetti Bolognaise. Yeah, I like simple things. Also unavoidable: fast food. Burgers are great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A lot and a lot of things. Random things that happened in the past, things that I'd like to see happen in the future, things that won't happen in the future. My mind never really stops working. It's an issue.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm either in Ostend, playing Magic. Or I'm in Ghent, going to bars with friends. Seriously, just having fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not a lot, really.
