I believe in enjoying life and living each day to the fullest. While I enjoy traveling and doing things on my own, I also know that things are even better when shared with someone special. I’ve been divorced for 20 years now, own my own home in Palo Alto, and am semi-retired, which leaves me lots of time to pursue one of my favorite passions, traveling. I spent a year in Florence, Italy as an foreign exchange student and that gave me the travel bug for the rest of my life. I especially like to travel to warm water beach resorts and to cities rich with culture and history. I also love being outdoors doing anything in the warm sunny fun when it’s shared.If your idea of a good time is pushing buttons in the chemistry section of the technical Deutches Museum in Munich and then going to the Hofbrauhouse in the evening for a late dinner....or joining me in my kitchen on a rainy day and helping me prepare an Italian or Mediterranean dinner over a glass of wine, we could be soul mates (just teasing..but it’s a good start!). If you enjoy life, get excited about good conversation, are able to laugh at your own foibles...and at my foibles!...like being close to someone, we would get along well. If your idea of a good day is walking the beach, going to the jazz festival in New Orleans, catching a good movie, going day hiking in wildflower season, watching whales at the Moss Beach Distillery, or relaxing on the beach in Costa Rica, you and I could have a great time together. In the end, I’m probably looking for the same thing you’re looking for...: a special person who can be my best friend during the day and a special lover at night.
