I've come to the conclusion that I suck at writing these things, but here goes.

I'm a laid back, sarcastic, pop culture junkie who loves meeting new people. I'm an optimist inside. I own a house, have a good job, and generally have my shit together. I'm not polyamorous, and I eat meat. Sorry, half of OkCupid.

Did I mention I can cook, and that I've won an Emmy?

I'm looking for a girl with a good head on her shoulders. Intelligence is a must. It's the sexiest quality I know.

I'm a news producer for one of the Philly TV stations. I absolutely love it.

Telling stories. Being easy to talk to and making time to hang out. Also, quizzo, and shouting out Jeopardy answers.

I'd like to think it's my eyes, because people comment on them a lot. But I talk too much, so it's probably that.

I'm a huge pop culture buff. I read a lot, watch a lot of movies, and work in TV. So there's no room to list everything. Here are some of my favorites.

Books: I'm a big Harry Potter fan. I, Lucifer...or anything by Glen Duncan really. The Great Gatsby. Anything by Poe. I read the Hunger Games, but didn't like the third one. I'm currently in the middle of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Phillip Pullman.

Movies: Caddyshack, The Usual Suspects, Slumdog Millionaire. The Godfather, A Few Good Men.

Shows: Arrested Development is the greatest show ever. I'm also a fan of Game of Thrones, Archer, Modern Family and The Daily Show and Colbert. The Newsroom is ok, but it's about my life, so I probably like it more than I should.

Music: A bit of everything. Classic/Indie rock mostly, but I'll listen to just about anything. I've recently come to the conclusion that Jackson Browne is my all time favorite. I'm a huge fan of The Police/Sting, Ben Folds, Gabe Dixon (look him up if you don't know him, you will love him), Bruce Springsteen, Gotye, Missy Higgins, and The Black Keys. Bonus points if you enjoy Frank.

Food: Italian, Mexican, and Sushi are my favorites. But I'm a foodie, so I'll try anything. I don't care for onions.
