Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I can be a bit of a nut sometimes--in a fun kind of way. At the same token I can be very serious. I love love LOVE to laugh. I love Jesus and am striving to be more like Him. I try to put Him first in everything that I do, and I thank God for His grace in those times when I don't. I think I'm a good friend--at least they've kept me around for a while lol. I try to "be there" and help my folks whenever/however I can. I tend to be a caring person, and I love the people I am close with very much. I typically do not go with whatever the new normals are--I don't drink the kool-aid. I find it hard to just accept whatever society thrusts in my face. I'm not afraid to stand out and be different. Most importantly, I'm not afraid to stand up for what is right. I believe that honesty really is the best policy. I'm a pretty easy going gal. Although I can be very excitable sometimes, my feathers don't get ruffled too much. I don't do drama--I run from it. Ain't nobody got time fo dat! LOL I'm very non-confrontational. Sometimes to a fault, but I'm working on it. I tend to be an introvert although oftentimes I appear to be outgoing. I enjoy my own company as much as I enjoy the company of others. Overall, I think I'm pretty darn awesome ;-)

I do not have children. I have a lot of interests. I like to do a lot of things from just hanging with my friends to going to see an orchestra. I like to travel although I don't do it as much as I would like. I enjoy cooking although I don't cook nearly as much as I should. I like trying to make gourmet meals. I like being outside, although I'm not the adventurous go climb a mountain type. However, white water rafting is on my list of things to do. I should mention, for you athletic types, I am working on becoming more active on a regular basis. My life has been crazy over the last three years with working full time and going to school full time. Now that I'm getting my life back, I want to get back on track. I am looking for someone who is a leader--not a follower; someone who is striving to become more like Jesus everyday; can make me laugh incessantly; loves deep conversation; isn't afraid to stand up for what is right and go against the popular opinion.

I work full time as a technical trainer.

I just finished a second bachelors degree in communication. WOO! I've been so excited to get back to "life as normal" for so long, and now that I have my life back I have no idea what normal is lol. I suppose now I can create a new normal!

I'm learning Mandarin Chinese for no real reason. It just seems like a cool language to know.

I'm also trying further my knowledge of video editing.

Choosing my words wisely, listening, techie things, baking Red Velvet cakes, relating to people, giving excellent clues in Taboo, being a good friend, telling stories, paying attention to detail, finding good music, I have a really good sense of direction (I'm never lost; I go on "adventures" until I see something familiar LOL)

You know...no one has ever told me that! If you and I meet in real life, please make sure you tell me.

Let's see...you might notice that I tend to be a bit animated when I speak, and I use my hands...a lot! I've gotta have some Italian somewhere along the line. I am a very passionate speaker. Between the hands flailing and the intense inflections in my voice (I'm not yelling...I'm from NY lol), people usually think that I am very extroverted, but I am SO not.

People also comment on my voice. They say I have a smooth jazz radio voice.

They also tend to notice how good of a listener I am. I think that's one reason people are drawn to me so quickly.

Now, one thing that I would think people would notice first but discover much later is how light my eyes are.

It's very hard for me to pick a favorite anything. So here are a few of my favorite things:

Food: Asian-style, Italian...and everything else that is chock full of carbs lol.

Music: Christian (i.e. Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton, Chris Tomlin, Lecrae, Chris August, Joann Rosario, tobyMac....), jazz, some pop, classical

Books: Bible, The Five Love Languages, Crazy Love, The Magic of Thinking Big, God: The Way He Longs For You to See Him

TV: Downton Abbey, Scandal, The Voice, Kitchen Nightmares, Grey's Anatomy

Movies: mysteries, old dramas and suspense movies...from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, Shutter Island, The Blind Side, The Truman Show, Clara's Heart, LOTR trilogy, Daddy's Little Girls, Taken, Avengers, Corrina, Corrina, Clara's Heart, What About Bob

My favorite color is orange...in case anyone wanted to know.

I have no idea anymore. Now that I'm done with school I can do whatever I want! Usually I'm pretty simple and I hang with friends, go out to eat, and/or catch a movie. I also like different things like going to see an orchestra or the theater.

P.S. I can't dance. I wish I could, but I can't. It's really sad. You probably don't want to take anywhere that involves dancing lol.

I actually do not like watermelon or hot sauce. Some people say I should remit my black card lol.
