I'm hardworking, slightly nerdy, but funny (I hope). I have a pretty demanding job, but not so demanding that I can't have fun, too. I'm looking for someone who has direction in his life and who likes what he does - someone grounded. My ideal guy would be someone who also isn't afraid to try new things (for example, I've always wanted to go to a gym with a rock-climbing wall, but I never have). Someone who would get me to do something like that would be perfect, but he also has to be cool with just hanging out and watching TV every now and then.

Well, I'm an associate at a law firm here in Boston. I like what I do, but it can be pretty intense sometimes. I like being a lawyer, though, even when I'm stuck in the office.

Looking at things objectively, even when emotions fly high. I think it's important to keep a level head whenever possible. Every so often, though, you've got to throw caution to the wind. I like to think I'm good at finding that balance.

My favorite books are called Elizabeth Costello by J.M. Coatzee, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, and American Gods by Niel Gaiman.

TV-wise, my current favorite show is Veep on HBO. I've also discovered Archer, which I love. God bless Netflix.
