My self-summary
Southern guy right here.

I was born and grew up in Wilmington, NC and it is where It's most likely end up back there if I build up enough of a financial foundation before I meet someone.

At 18 I went to Savannah GA, originally going to help renovate a home on Wilmington Island for a month, I picked up a side job and ended up staying there, I ended up in what is now my career field, and I stayed in Savannah for 7 years. I dated some, but only had a couple of girl friends. Actually the house was the g/f's parents' at that time.

I ended up in San Antonio for 2 and half years doing the same line of work, and although I benefited from that trip substantially, I decided to move to Indy to try a hand at another department which I am enjoying very much.

I am the a goofy, witty, and easy going type. I am sarcastic, and I also find humor in just about everything.

I will probably ask to go do something and I don't mind paying. I am old-fashioned, but if you are independent, and want to pay your own way, just jump right in, it will not bother me. I will need to figure out what makes you who you are anyway.

I grew up Southern Baptist and know the bible and feel that there is a place for religion. I have come to a system of belief that a friend once called eclectic, but I do believe that there is a higher powered being and I follow most similarly to that of a Christian walk, as many people call it.

I've been trying to eat better, drink less coffee and exercise more, I love to run and play almost any sport, so I'm up for a game of ultimate Frisbee or some volley ball at the park.

As for the club, I can get lost in some trance music, but I would rather go to a social atmosphere and talk with someone or as a group. I enjoy places where there is live music in the background.
What I’m doing with my life
I joined an engineering group working off the Indy airport. I am required to stay in Indy until Spring of 2015, so I have some time to get acclimated to the area and see if it's the place where I will make home.

I want to have a few years of good times before settling down and having kids. I hope to find someone to enjoy this time with.

I'm hoping to find a house to fix up, but I will settle for a nice apartment while I figure out what I am going to do over the next 2 years.

I would like to have a business started up by the time I am 35. It's a long way away, but it's my retirement plan. I want to enjoy a family as much as I possibly can.

As far as travel goes, I have a few weekend trips planned to go to Detroit, St. Louis, and would still like to plan on going to Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Milwaukee.
For a longer stay, I plan on going back home for a week or two for Christmas, and I have started discussing a trip to catch up with some friends in the far east for 2014. And there are a couple of big events happening in Brazil in 2014 as well that I have thought about.
I’m really good at
Cooking: I try to stay away from all the processed food and get back to the good stuff, steak, green beans, zucchini, onion, broccoli and cheese, soups, casseroles, rice, yogurt and nuts.

Arts: musical and visual.

Finances, I've already learned the hard lessons.

I like to run and can be too competitive. I am going to be looking into cycling before the spring gets here. I'll need to pick out the right bike.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I cook or make most of my meals, but I do enjoy Thai food. It taste so fresh.

Boondock Saints, The Terminal, Training Day, IP Man, Nat Geo, History Channel. HOUSE, but I do not spend much time watching the TV, I do enjoy good movies though.
The six things I could never do without
My new car, I like to be on time and able to come and go.
Knowledge, coffee, My father and grandfather's example.
A decent budget, and a nice place to live.

Most everything in life is a commodity. We are lucky to be in a place to have that what we actually need, readily available.
On a typical Friday night I am
I use to play volleyball with co-workers, but I have to find something new now.
