I sometimes feel as if I'm still waiting for life to truly begin. Of course, I have experiences and memories. What I mean is that I know I'm capable of more, of accomplishing goals and then setting new ones. Of treating life as a journey. I'm always coming up with new ideas and plans, but find that I'm moving in circles instead of out into the world.

Ok, I realize that I sound like a new age hippie. I do have two feet planted on the ground, although I did live with a family I would consider to be hippies for a short time and who I still consider to be my closest friends. You can ask me about that later.

For now I'm just trying to keep an eye open for new life experiences that may come my way, and in the meanwhile slowly moving forward.

I am caring, free-spirited, and clever

I've just finished school. Again. A life-long learner, that's what I'd call myself. I'm just moving to Toronto to work in corporate communications. In my spare time I freelance as a web and graphic designer.

I'm pretty busy, but I always find a way to add more on my plate.

Deep discussions with people I've just met. For some reason, small talk seems to escape me. When I meet someone I tend to walk away knowing about their families, ambitions, and what their favourite tv commercial is and why. I'm also pretty heavy at doling out the advice, though I've never had a complaint and most of my friends ask my opinion. I do try to be a listener, but sometimes that inner wisdom can't keep quiet.

The eyes (inherited from mom). Green with long lashes... usually a conversation opener in person, though I don't know how well that would work for you online ;)

I've always had a hard time choosing favourites. Somehow it doesn't seem fair.

However, I enjoy classic literature along with the occasional chick lit and lots of personal finance and design type non-fiction for good mix. I love the library and dream about having a room just for books. Maybe some comfy furniture for lounging. A minibar for snacks.

As for movies RomCom wins out, though I like documentaries and action as well. I'm a big fan of tv..... grey's, oth, house, heroes, etc, etc. I thank the internet and pvr for allowing me to not live by the tv's schedule. I can go weeks at a time and then just veg for a night. Yay for technology.

Music is quite an eclectic mix. Jazz, funk, country, top 40, oldies.

Ice cream is a vice I believe I learned from my uncle who is infamously known for feeding my sister and I ice cream for breakfast one morning as children.

I guess that's a little broad because I can't really think of any more. Oh, I know: The past. The present.

You're not into confessing your love after 1 week, you're interested in enjoying life instead of having it pass you by, you're not stupid enough to smoke despite knowing what you know about it, and you're not going to try to convert me to a religion or cult.

Also if you need a logo, business card, or website designed (shameless aren't I?)
