My self-summary
Hola :)

I love to chat about anything on anyone's mind, I'm very open. I love learning and sharing stories. I like going to try new things. Generally, I don't like 'going for coffee' because I use it more as fuel rather than as a social beverage. I would prefer to go to a cultural event or something I've never tried before :).

I think it's important to be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
What I’m doing with my life
After teaching abroad in Costa Rica for a year and a half, I now teach English here in Toronto.

In Costa Rica, I was waiting in line at a grocery store. I had a female cashier who had a male cashier that was making eyes with her from afar. He stopped, came over and started flirting with her. Both lines were getting pretty long, so I meekly tried to interrupt the romcom scene by politely asking to pay for my things. The girl turned around, looked me straight in the eyes and said, 'sh!' then snapped back around to her lover. In Costa Rica, life is put first instead of work. It's a shame that this lust for life isn't as apparent in Canadian culture.
I’m really good at
making bacon! cooking Costa Rican cuisine, Muay Thai knees, coaching volleyball, video games
The first things people usually notice about me
I laugh a lot and am very expressive with my gestures and facial expressions!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Slaughterhouse Five, The Reader, Flowers for Algernon, Seven years in Tibet
Food: Indian food and a good greasy spring roll

I don't watch a lot of movies. I can't sit in one place too long. I rather go out for a walk, or go to a museum, go to a live show, go salsa dancing, something! anything! other than sit on my butt and watch other people doing awesome things.
The six things I could never do without
I try to live without having things I could never do without. It's better to be adaptable.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 25–40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You are witty and have a passion and ambition for something.

I don't want to wait on transit to see you. If you do not live in the downtown core or very close surroundings....then unfortunately I would feel uncomfortable to have such a long commute for either of us.
