I am a born and raised Alaskan, but have been in Seattle since Aprilish. Love it here and do not have much intention to return home now for more then a visit. I like warm weather, i was raised in the snow and don't do so hot at snow sports anyways. now don't get me wrong i have tried damn near all of them but i'm a little to clumsy to make the stupid snowboard/skis/snowshoes/sleds stay underneath me. So winter doesn't have much appeal short of it's beauty. There is not much prettier than the sun set from the lodge in Alyeaska (ski resort at home) when it's all white, snowing and kind of blowing.... as long as i'm indoors, hopefully with hot coffee in hand :) Don't get me wrong there is so much about home i will miss, like knowing exactly where to go for everything, the best little camping or fishing spots, driving for hours upon hours and seeing no one, arctic man, my favorite dive bar and all of my friends.

None the less there is a lot of good things going right now I live in a beautiful home with very fun, interesting housemates, enjoy my job very much and spend quite a bit of time poking around seattle. I haven't made it far outside of the city but am very interested in seeing more here and the rest of Washington. It would be nice to meet someone who could show me around and make Seattle feel more like home.

I have a hand full of tattoos... 7 to be exact and 2 facial piercings and plan to get more of both!

I currently work one job friday, saturday nights but just picked up a second full time job. I'm looking forward to have something to fill my days with.

I look at them, smile and offer a handshake, I'm tooting my own horn but i have big eyes, big smile and am not shy. I enjoy meeting someone new and am outgoing from moment one.

I never miss an episode of house but other than that no TV. I'll rent just about any movie and spend most sundays watching as many as possible.

The same goes for books, i'll read just about anything i can get my hands on and spend hours getting sucked into a book. The last book i read and LOVED was called Dr. Tatianas Sex Advice to all Creation. It was a great book about the evolutionary biology of sex. It was written like a advice column for animals. Sounds odd i know but it was funny and i learned a lot, even if it was the breeding habits of a fruit fly or why some bugs/animals eat there mates/offspring. But i'm currently Reading a David Sedaris book that is great as well. He never fails to make me laugh out loud, leaving me looking like another nut case on the bus.

With music i am very open to anything BUT what you will find me listing to is Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Etta James so on so forth...

When it comes to food i can enjoy everything from burgers and beer to wine and good italian. yum. (I'm a secret fat kid) All food is good, but allergic to nuts so thats out and i don't care for shell fish (clams, mussels, oysters, crab or lobster) it's not the taste it's the idea. ugh. other than that I am a total sucker for classic food with a twist... and asparagus, tomato soup, pasta, pumpkin pie, lamb, yogurt, all fruits, duck or any wild birds, red potatoes, hollandaise sauce and cream cheese are all in my top picks so any way they can be prepared I'm into, even better if they can be combined. :)

I do drink but rarely to excess. Beer always has a place for me i like wheat or whites every now and than i can toss in a few lighter in taste darker beers. But but i'm also a wine drinker and cocktails... so to sum that up it all has it's time and place! wine and a movie at home or a good dinner? beer around a camp fire or a fun low key house party? Or a good stiff vodka grapefruit after a long day at work when you have nothing but time to kill and some one to bullshit with? All good things

a good laugh, coffee, work, high heels, a little me time and coffee.... yeah just like that and not necessarily in that order.

Working, and i wouldn't have it any other way... i get to be out without actually going, get to be social, laugh and have fun. But I'm making money!
