It's too difficult to summarize myself in a paragraph but I like a challenge. I'm eclectic, I like going to the Opera, and looking at art, but I also enjoy a good rock show and trashy reality TV. I like traveling. Sometimes I like the journey better than the destination. I've seen more of Europe than the U.S. but I definitely want to change that. I'm an only child which means I spend a lot of time talking to myself. I love thunder storms. I like anything in nature that reminds me how small and insignificant we really are. I'm a caring person and I think as human beings we should care for each other more. I don't like taking life too seriously. I love pub trivia, and watch Jeopardy competitively. I laugh at my own jokes even when others don't. My favorite holiday's Halloween. I complain about the cold but I wouldn't give up the fall for anything in the world. I like good conversation and comfortable silence. I can be incredibly silly. I took them a little to seriously when they told us we could be anything we wanted as children. I enjoy city life, roller coasters, thunderstorms, and adventure. I'm a karaoke master. I'm known for my one liners. I do comically bad impersonations. I don't care for Shakespeare. I believe that teen angst was invented in the 90's. I don't understand people who aren't curious with, or fascinated by the world around them. I'll try almost anything once. It think it's sad to believe in nothing. I enjoy men that are assertive. My favorite sound is the chirping of birds at dawn. I'm disgusted by the amount of times I just typed the word "I."

I'm trying to experience new things and take more chances in life. I just finished my BA in English and Public Relations. Right now I'm looking for a job that won't be too soul-draining while I apply for PhD programs. I'm also trying to get some writing done.
