My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there! First things first: the lightning bolt in my profile picture was a special request. I know it looks realistic, but it was done in paint - I actually very seldom sit in front of lightning bolts, particularly in restaurants like the one in which that photo was taken. I'm an outgoing sort of introvert with too many interests and not enough passion for any of them. I like learning, thinking and talking about all sorts of things: singing, dancing, martial arts, drawing, acting, programming, learning language, understanding natural and made systems, and particularly becoming familiar with my own body and mind. I haven't actually done very much dancing, but I still like it and would like to learn at some point. Archery would be really cool too, now I think of it. I've lived a lot for the time I've lived it in, and at times I feel old. I make up for it, though, by being a little bit childish elsewhen.

I particularly like receiving really long messages from people that make absolutely no reference to the size of my penis.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently in the middle of a degree learning how to SCIENCE. The field I'm studying is still a little bit obscure, so let's say I study molecular biology. This is a half-truth. Also getting back into training at the moment, since my last semester of uni had a horrible schedule and I got out of the habit and started feeling the difference. Let's say the training I do is Tai Chi. This is a half-truth too. Hoping to get back into properly studying language in the near future, too...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding new things and learning to perceive in new ways. Gosh, that sounds stupid. Well, this was never going to be a very good section anyway. I can sing and act somewhat (and am really good at singing embarrassingly in public when the time is right), and sense some pretty cool things internal to my body (long story). I'm historically pretty bad at Not Thinking and I really suck at doing things that require you to stop. Working on that, though.
The first things people usually notice about me

I assume it's my height, but I really don't have any idea. If anybody notices anything about me, please let me know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Discworld and Dune
Movies: I tend not to get too excited about movies, but I seldom see a movie I don't enjoy on some level.
Shows: Stage musicals! Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Also QI, Breaking Bad, Glee.
Music: Wildly inconsistent. I tend to go through brief phases listening to different genres or just listening to individual songs. I -suck- at knowing specific artists.
Food: I enjoy variety, but I'm not big on spicy foods. Chinese, Japanese and Indian come to mind. Northern and western Chinese in particular - love my lamb and spiced organ meats.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good friends
A jug of wine
A loaf of bread
And thou
I'm kidding, I hate wine. Bleugh.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I just spend too much time thinking in general.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
... usually at a friend's house or out to dinner, chatting. Very occasionally playing D&D.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My favourite batsuit from the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy... was actually the one he had before he painted it black and added a cape.
