I've lived a life of changing careers and adventures. I've been an engineer, designer, successful documentary filmmaker, purveyor of free booze, and have run companies.

I spend a lot if time outdoors and yearn for the woods when not there. I try to take advantage of the city although I've been here forever. Still trying to navigate the endless supply of things to do.

I'm pragmatic but extremely passionate about what I love and believe.

I am in the midst of starting a new company so that's my day. I love building stuff - I've built two cabins and some furniture - and pretty much anything that challenges me.

I'm an extremely loyal friend and value my relationships.

Oh, I also cycle everywhere and rarely take trains or cabs. Don't worry, I won't ask you to bike in the rain - have metro card; will travel.

I can't bang out a list here but I read a lot and love the classics as well as anything in between DFW and Jose Saramago. I really think Mary Shelly is underrated.

I see a lot of movies and still prefer to see a matinee at the theater over on a tiny screen - nothing beats a daytime movie while everyone's at work.

My bike, whole milk, trees, pen and paper. And the people I love.

Virtue. Seriously.

And, lately, starting a less antiquated library built for 2013. Seriously, what is up with the NYPL?

Friday has no significance for me but I do find myself often heading upstate.
