I kind of consider myself a bit of an oddball and geek. I'm pretty laidback, read wayyy
too much, and love a good conversation (favorite subjects being
technology,
philosophy,
physics - least
favorite subjects being religion, politics, and finances).
Since I grew up the ugly duckling and a tomboy - I wouldn't really
say I have an uber-romantic side. I'll take any ivy over a bunch of
roses (I prefer that the plant is still alive). I'll take a stadium
hot dog and baseball game over a romantic dinner, and I really
dislike the word "cuddle", "wuv" (not a word I know), "cutie",
"baby" (like don't ever call me "baby").

What I'm doing with my life
I tend to try to do a lot at once, so at the moment:
- Working a 9-6 full time professional job at a software company as a software specialist.
- Going back to school in March to pursue the rest of my degree.
- Trying to get involved again with FIRST (spent 4 years in it and miss being involved) or Special Olympics (was involved 4 years as a Unified Partner for basketball and track and field).
- Trying to travel a lot more.

Being empathetic - I'm realizing I'm almost painfully (to myself) empathetic. I don't think I've ever turned anyone (even complete strangers) away from venting or talking to me about their issues, and I keep thinking about it and trying to find resolutions for weeks after.

I'm short (5'1ish - not that bad).
I apparently look way younger than I am. Youngest I've heard so far is 12, most common is 15 or 16. But to put a positive spin on it - just think how I'll look when I'm 40!

Movies - Good Luck Chuck is my favorite (I am as accident prone as the character Cam), otherwise I like comedies. I love Pixar movies, so Wall-E was just amazing. Also love the holy action hero movies like IronMan...
Music - 90's music. Love Gin Blossom, GooGoo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, etc.
